Negligent
Ran me through a number of tests. Upon not being able to find anything immediately addressable within his typical scope he lumped me into a neurological disorder diagnosis that didn't make sense. I tried explaining to him, his diagnosis did not fit my symptoms. He insisted I had said condition, stated there was nothing that could be done and that I should prepare to live the rest of my life this way. Hep promptly left the room without offering any advice or resources. After months of stress, suffering and sustaining an autanomical nervous system disorder from the constant stress I received a proper diagnosis which disagreed with his initial one.

One of the most helpful doctors I've seen
It was absurdly difficult to get an appointment for months of double vision that was corrected by a simple sticker, but once I was in, Dr Lee Ave his team were very helpful.

Seemed like he was eager to conclude appointment
He was 40 minutes late and that’s part really isn’t a big deal… He has other patients and stuff happens. However when he came in the room, it seemed like he was rushed from the second he came in until the second he left. Also I understand that he’s very accomplished and well-respected among his peers, however every time that I’ve seen him (which has been many), he comes off as judgmental and arrogant. One of the resident physicians that he works with once came in the room before him and he was like “brain surgery, huh? How’d that go?” I didn’t know if he was being serious or not because I felt it was implied that brain surgery sucks. ¯\_ (?)_/¯ Anyway, Dr. Lee seems very knowledgeable… Though he could stand to work on his rapport with patients.

Very personable. Will readily explain treatment options, rationale and costs. Will seek input from the patient (me) as to effectiveness of treatment with every visit, and will make changes and recommendations (that end up positively affecting treatment) if necessary.

I have had Dr. Lee as my ophthalmologist for several years and consider myself so fortunate to be his patient. I found in Dr. Lee the ultimate care package. His broad and deep understanding of several areas of ophthalmology enable him to work with his patients to design the best approach to dealing with each situation. He explain the outcomes in terms that are easily understood by the patient. His infectious smile and great personality make you feel like your are visiting with a friend.
