My second operation with Dr. Kroph. The first was a successful and so is the second.Dr. Kroph is kind, understanding, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He told me after I asked ifhe could do this and bring me back to normal…and he did. I’m grateful to him and his staff.

Dr. Kropf should have advised against surgery and instead chose to make me much worse after surgery. He seems very interested prior to and when things go bad, he becomes non communicative and was completely puzzled. He pushed me off to his pain management person ( Kamrava ) who merely wants to do more expensive injections that are more dangerous once surgery goes bad. Do your homework and study "FAILED BACK SURGERY" and "ARACHNOIDITIS"prior to your surgery. And, Cedars is horrible if you have to spend more than a day there.

I was schedule with Dr. Kropf on 4/15/19 for back surgery and come to find out he used other surgent then I told about and used Dr. Hill with only 7 years experience after asking him before surgery he stated that Dr. Kropf, Dr. McGinity and Dr. Wagner was going to do this surgery. Dr. Hill name was not give to me and if had I would not have gone through the surgery as I am a type A personality and want to know who is working on me and was not given the opportunity to vet him. There were complication with this surgery but no answer my question on what Dr. Hill did and was told to go back to Dr. Kropf and he said that he assisted but I thought that was Dr. McGinity roll as his fellow and was not listed on the OR report. I have had previous and post surgery with Dr. Kropf and he is great and would recommend him, the staff is great and very responsive. But make sure you ask the question who is going to be there to prevent this type of misunderstanding

Dr. Kropf has been my spine surgeon for almost 14 years and counting. I was referred by a coworker, who spoke highly of him, and I feel exactly the same way. He has performed three surgeries on me and with each one, I knew I was in the BEST possible hands. He is a highly knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate doctor. His staff are also extremely professional and kind. I have complete trust in him and would not got anywhere else.

We are praising God for Dr. Kropf and all of his excellent staff at the Spine Center!! Due to a very late diagnosis of tumors in and around my spine, we came to Dr. Kropf with an urgent, critical need for surgery ASAP. Dr..Kropf and Katie did an excellent job going over the imaging and the detailed plan for surgery with compassion and a genuine caring response to our questions. Sammy was also amazing in helping us through the process!!! My husband and I will be forever grateful!!

In February 2016 Dr. Kropf rebuilt my lumbar. The outcome was excellent. Ergo, based on my personal experience, I recommend Dr. Kropf to anyone who requires spinal surgery.

Dr. Kropf is wonderful. He is a very good listener and won't rush you. Sometimes as patients you have to explain in detail or read your list of questions. ?? He has never rushed me with my questions. He's very calm. You want a calm patient doctor operating on you. He has preformed surgery on me & it was a success! He's operated on my daughter and my son in law. I feel he is the best! The only trouble I have run into is my insurance company. when this is resolved, I will have surgery. ????

Dr. Kropf performed the removal of previously required dynasis surgery which was required for the correction of spondiolesthesis/facet syndrome/decompression/& replacement of a disc between L4 & L5 nine years earlier by another well respected surgeon. This surgery by Dr. Kropf was for additional damage caused by other progressive arthritic damage fr. L1 through and including L5/laminectomy/decompression/stabilization via 5 lumbar titanium screws & rods. Out of 5 rating. He gets a 10. Excelent

Dr. Kropf left me with spondylosis, tilted forward and to the right. He left me with a single disc to support my entire spine and now I am facing a full spine fusion, including iliac screws due to his inadequate ability. I would not go to him unless it was a very simple procedure.
