Great doctor, high prices
I find Dr. Krathan and his team to be kind, professional, and competent. They're willing to wear masks at my request. He said he left another practice to be able to give Individualized attention to his patients, and I admire that. My only concern is how expensive his cosmetic treatments are.

Absolutely not!
Dr. Krathen was like Jekyll & Hyde.He bounced back and forth between seeming like a kind and helpful medical provider & then becoming short and rude. It was confusing and scary. Now I understand why there are only really low and really high reviews!!!

Rushed me out the door and gave no diagnosis. A second dermatologist I saw was super and had the answers and the solution.

Not Passionate
Idk why Dr.Krathen is a dermatologist. I asked him questions about a skin condition and he was short and rude. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. His answers made no sense to me and he was not willing to explain them in detail so I could understand.

Dermatology is really becoming just cosmetology, due to the high profits obtained from cosmetic issues. That said, I went to this provider for skin rash, and other skin concerns. I waited 25 minutes to be seen, for a consult lasting less than 10 minutes. No biopsy was done as requested and instead prescribed a lotion that hasn't worked.

Spent less than ten minutes with me. Seems to literally be guessing and smiling. Told me I had a condition, went to another dermatologist who told me absolutely not. No bedside manner, just arrogant and condescending

Wrong Diagnosis – Mar 06, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Krathen?
Dr. Krathen and his staff were absolutely wonderful! I was very pleased with the results from the fillers, being my first time. I was nervous that my lips would look abnormal but they ended up looking natural as he had promised. From entering his office and working with his kind assistants, to the cleanliness and order of his treatment room, all the way to the check out process – his office and professionalism is second to none.

Dr. Krathen is as good at it gets! He's got the right medical training, is thorough, diagnoses what's wrong, gives you lots of information about how things can be handled, and has the skills and techniques to cure you.His staff is also top-notch. His personality and medical manner is easy going and supportive. He also provides a lot of common sense and practical-get-the-stuff-at-the-local-drug-store tips. I recommend him to my family members and friends.

I have had psoriasis for many years. My dermatologist retired. I am extremely happy I choose Dr Krathen as my new dermatologist. He spent time with me. He explained everything and helped me not only treat my skin manifestations, but also he helped me with some systemic issues as well. Everyone would be lucky to have such a well trained, personable and caring physician as Dr. K.
