Who Needs Bedside Manner?
Dr. Kornblatt performed an L5-S1 microdiscectomy on me in December, 2000, when I was just 38. Here I am at almost 61 and you could never tell by looking at me and my strength. Yes, at that time, he had the absolute worst bedside manner, but who cares about that when your body needs to be fixed? I still give him five stars because I am forever thankful for his great work. I can't even see the scar anymore!

Fantastic experiences, best doctor I have ever had. I was recommended by my brother in law that had a great experience. Dr. Kornblatt has repaired two Herniated discs for me in the past, both procedures went great. I have made numerous recommendations and everyone I know speaks highly of him. Looks like I may need a third procedure in the future and I will be returning in spite of an hour plus drive to see him.

Horrible experience with this so-call physician. His bed-side manner was poor and he was extremely dismissive of my symptoms. At some point during the history taking he laughed in my face, which made me feel embarrassed. During the exam he told me multiple times that I did not have anything wrong with me. Not sure how this person is practicing medicine.

Unfortunately, my insurance required that I see Dr Michael Kornblatt for a disc related injury. With a 1.5/5 average rating with 20 reviews as of this writing, my expectations were extremely low. Unsurprisingly, his abysmally low performance continued during my visit. Despite having numerous symptoms and an MRI displaying a herniated disc per the radiologists report, Dr Kornblatt used every possible attempt to minimize my injury, and verbally stated that I was fine. Go elsewhere.

My experience with this "doctor" was unacceptable- he was condescending, argumentative, unprofessional, apathetic and insulting- if he is considered an expert in his field I have grave concerns for the future- I highly recommend finding a different doctor ... hopefully you can find one with more interest healing than on saving big insurance big money by refusing necessary treatment

Then all of a sudden he scooted his chair and body within inches of my face and started yelling and screaming at me so that his spit was hitting my face. He was yelling that he had never seen a case such as mine and that I just did not want to work and that I was the type of person that didn't want to work and just have surgeries. And there was no reason he saw in my records why I should not have been able to work and go out and get a job. He then got really mad and yelled at me again
