Dr. Michael Klapchar, MD

Dr Klapchar is a horrible dr what a joke.I went to the er do to skin ripped off my second toe being a diabetic it was very concerning. Dr Klapchar didn't absolutely nothing for me no labs no xrays nothing he didn't even put gloves on to exam my toe basically looked at my toe said cellulitis gave me two antibiotics by mouth had nurse clean my wound gave Me two scripts and sent me on my way. 4 days later my wound looked worse. Needless to say I ended up in a different er who were wonderful they ran labs did xray and a CT scan. I ended up with a bad infection admitted to the hospital for 3 days with 2 strong antibiotics. Thank goodness I went to a different er i could of lost my toe bcuz of him.

I had a super bad nose bleed, it was coming out of both sides. Dr. Mike identified the problem fast, packed my nose with some kind of tampon device, gave me pain medicine and got me to a bigger hospital FAST by helicopter. I was in the operating room a few hours later, I almost needed a blood transfusion due to how bad it was....he saved my life! THANK YOU! 5 stars

I would absolutely recommend this doctor! He is very thorough and takes time to make sure everything is well explained. He listened to my complaints and took the time to run tests and find what other doctors had missed in the past. I am very grateful for the care he has provided for not only myself, but my family during trips to the ER.

If you value your life or your child's I suggest you find a different doctor. Micheal Kalpchar is unprofessional, childish, ignorant and flat out rude!!! He will judge you based off things you do outside of his facility and it will effect how he treats you. He's not a doctor he's simply there for a check. He does NOT care about his patients. I cannot wait until you get what you deserve. Some people NEVER forgot what you've done to them and I haven't and NEVER will!!!!

Is extremely rude and ignorant for a small town emergency room doctor. Told me I was “totally fine” and belittled me in front of several staff. I was diagnosed with pneumonia later that day by a neighboring hospital. Cannot give negative stars so 1 is what he gets.

Very informative, Took care of my dad with 30+ stitches. He was super calm and very overseeing of every step in the care process. I then went back to the ER a year later to be seen for an eye injury again with Dr Klapchar. He took very good care of me. He gave me referral to the best eye specialist in the area. To the people who complaine about wait times it's an er not an express care. If you want fast general care go to an express care not an er. Things take time and scans and lab work take time.

Excellent! Explained matters clearly and efficiently for what my mother needed. Do not blame the doctors for the length of wait since many people come to the ER with stupid reasons (cold, sore throat etc.) That's NOT what ER is for and you lengthen the waiting time for those that actually need emergency services!!

This is an ER physician so you don’t have a choice. His skills may be adequate but he has a terrible attitude. My family member was very sick and brought by ambulance. She was stuck in a room and a few preliminary tests drawn. After almost 2 hours we hadn’t heard anything. I found a nurse and politely asked if someone would fill me in when they had a moment. This doctor starting yelling at me that there were more critical patients than her. Turns out she WAS critical and was sent to ICU!
