Unresponsive staff
My experience with Dr. Keown has always been fine ( 2years ). My problem is with his staff. They wont return your calls until you have called multiple times on consecutive days. This has been an ongoing problem. Its like pulling teeth to get them to respond to requests for test results.

Dr. Keown, best doctor I have ever had, but....
DR. Keown is a great doctor. With additions of nurse practitioners, things have changed. I have high blood pressure, prone to gout, depression and stomach problems. I have 2 meds for blood pressure, a stand-by med for gout flair-ups, and 1 med each for depression and my stomach. Months ago, I was developing gout and needed more of my medicine. The pain was severe and I was working. I called for a refill on Wednesday but needed to leave a message. Returned call was received Friday morning. The practitioner said I needed appointment before refill. Tuesday was earliest!! Wow!! I received my medicine from online physician provided by my insurance that afternoon. Dr Keown never refused immediate care. Recently, in early October, my refill for depression and 1 blood pressure med was denied. I talked to practitioner, must get appointment. Earliest was 4 weeks away. Dr. Keown told me to never stop my medicine. Now my other meds have expired! Is hard to believe! Right now, I'm 148/99.

I've had him for nearly 15 yrs. He's always shown kindness and compassion!! He has always been professional and spends adequate time listening and following up on any of my medical needs. Dr. Keown is one of the best Dr's I've ever had and I was heart broken when I moved out of state and couldn't take him with me for continued care!! His personality and bed side manner is A+ and I've never left his office without a smile. Many thanks to Dr keown for being a part of my medical journey.

He has no bedside manner at all...went to him for a chronic problem and he referred me to someone else! After a year and a half due to insurance change I went back to him and again he said as I told you the last time I'm doctor number 20 and I don't know what's wrong with you. ??
