Dr. Michael Hyman, MD

I arranged an appointment with Dr. Hyman for my father's routine prostate exam, and our experience was nothing short of terrible.Calling the doctor's office to request email documentation of the visit and PSA test turned into a complete nightmare. Dr. Hyman's administrative assistant had me on hold for over an hour and was unable to send the results by email. I found myself calling nearly 10 times, and each time, she behaved as though it was my first request. This was one of the most aggravating experiences I've endured in quite some time.Ultimately, the PSA test was sent, but it was done by Dr. Cosgrove's assistant instead, as Dr. Hyman's office seemed incapable of managing the request.To make matters worse, Dr. Hyman seemed hurried during the examination and failed to include any recommendations in his notes, let alone follow up afterward.In summary, visiting this doctor's office was an appalling experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Also, the PSA test took almost a week to process and the office never called us to tell us. We had to call them. In summary, visiting this doctor's office was an appalling experience, and I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Not very warm. Felt like i was bothering him. Never asked me about diet. A little careless. Made a promise he didn't keep. Wouldn’t go back.

I have been a Patient of Dr. Hyman for several years. He is great in as many ways as it is possible for a Doctor to be superb and outstanding. In addition, his staff is incredibly efficient, friendly, and always concerned for your personal comfort and sense of modesty. In addition, your appointments are made as you want them and when you want them. JENNY goes to great lengths to fit you in their schedule with your preferences the number one consideration. All of the Folks, Nurses and others, FELICIA, ANNITA and MARISSA are obvious in their enjoyment of their Jobs and always have a beautiful smile to greet you and make you feel you are very important, no question of it at all. Yes, I am an enthusiastic promoter of the crew at Advantage Urology.

Dr Hyman is the BEST. His office staff is very considerate. When you call, someone is there to answer the phone. If you have a question, the Doctor is there to answer you question. If you need a call back from the Doctor, he is there for you.

I never got to meet Dr. Hyman since I left after waiting for more than 45 minutes past my appointment time. I arrived for my 4:00 appointment at 3:45 so I could fill out paperwork. After waiting until about 4:20, an unfriendly nurse guided me to an exam room w/o ever saying hello but just pointed me to the room. After she took my BP and asked a few questions, she closed the door and left. I sat in that room for another 30 minutes and then decided to leave. Not a nice way to treat new patients.
