Dr. Michael Hughes, MD

Dr Hughes has a great bedside manner and is very attentive to me. He makes me feel very comfortable

My visit with Dr Hughes was nothing less than pointless and frustrating. The MSK department scheduled the appointment, but when I arrived he offered nothing to me because I had not taken an EGM test, which was scheduled less than 24 hours prior for after the appointment. He was completely unapologetic for the mix-up on Sharp's end, and instead told me a half dozen times I needed to get the test, as if it was my decision or that I had objected to it. When I asked him a simple question about my neck pulling on my feet nerves, he said in 35 years of medicine he had never heard of that. My chiropractor, who I saw after, immediately identified it as dural tension. He is apparently useless outside of reading test results, and his analysis is suspect. His nurse was worse. Immediately, unnecessarily rude and agitated to both me and my spouse. Pushy, interrupting, completely unprofessional. She should not be working in medicine. Did not provide me her name and had no visible nametag.

Have been seeing Dr. Hughes regularly for a few years. I get it on time. His staff is cordial and efficient. The doctor is friendly, interested, concerned, helpful and effective. He does what needs to be done with practical and appreciated advice. Just the kind of doctor I enjoy having. I have nothing but praise for him—no complaints whatsoever.

I did not have a successful visit with Dr Hughes. He was not a good listener, in my opinion, therefore did not get the full scope of the injury treated.

We found Dr. M. Hughes to be professional yet very personable and caring. He made a tough situation better.
