When I needed a cardiologist I chose Dr. Honan because of his reputation as an outstanding specialist. While he is very serious and analytical about my health, he is also very personal and offers sensible, personal suggestions about things I can do to improve my health risks. He is very pleasant and easy to engage in conversation. The staff is very courteous and professional.

I absolutely appreciate his down to earth attitude. He was very thorough and just as kind. Dr.Honan and his staff are just awesome , he even comes to my part of the world a few times a month. Its hard to find a great doctor and one that comes to pell city is even harder.

In my visits with Dr. Honan, he has always been very pleasant, approachable, honest, and caring. He even tells a good funny every once in a while. He's analytical like me, so sometimes you have to wait for it. But he took time to get to know more about me, my family, and my career. Of course these are all important things to know when dealing with heart patients, but he even shares stories about his own family, which shows that he truly cares. He rocks!

First office visit due to my cardiologist retiring. Office staff was friendly and professional. Short wait time and I feel very comfortable with interaction and doctor visit..

Dr. Honan is very thorough and detail oriented. He is personable and approachable to discuss questions with. It has meant so much to me to have a dedicated physician that has even personally called me with test results! I'm thankful we came together after my heart scare and trust his guidance. The office is very convenient in the Colonnade area off Hwy. 280. It'ss new and clean with good parking. The lobby and exam rooms need plants and pictures! Ambiance is too sterile.

Dr. Honan is very attentive and seems to genuinely care about your overall health and well being.

Dr. Honan is a fantastic physician. Exceptionally knowledgeable, comforting, and thoughtful. I remain a faithful consumer because he is so great. I have not been very happy with the ultrasound techs. I have had two negative experiences with them in the last few years. As a health care provider myself, I recognize that they need additional training in HIPPA compliance and an understanding of how the patient feels about their reactions to images. Smaller caseloads for the MDs would help.

He is excellent. Have seen him on multiple occasions and he is always the same. Never rushed through the appointment. Sat down, listened without interruption, documented what I was telling him and clarified that he understood what I was telling him. Gave me a written plan of care with follow up appointments and instructions. Very methodical with diagnostics, even called me at home to give me results that were normal, just to reassure me. Very caring doctor. Love that testing was done on site.

DR Honan is a compassionate, caring physician who gives 100% of his attention to his patient during office visits. If I do not completely understand procedures, my condition, my medications, he thoroughly explains everything to my satisfaction. I feel quite fortunate to have him as my cardiologist/surgeon.
