The absolute best radiology oncologist!
From my very first visit after being diagnosed with breast cancer (2019) to my yearly exams, I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Hahl's knowledge and excellent bedside manner. He explained my breast cancer to me better than the oncologist and laid out the perfect treatment plan (cancer free!).

Doctor Michael Hahl was recommended to me as one of Louisville’s best radiation oncologists, and I understand why. He did a truly remarkable job of treating my vocal chord cancer. From our first meeting he put my husband and myself at ease and explained clearly how he was going to treat me—but he was also very honest in telling me what side effects I had to expect. This gave me a lot of confidence and optimism during my 28 radiation sessions. He saw me every week during that time, and never made me feel he was rushing to see his next patient. In the end, thanks to his skill, my vocal chords were clear of cancer—and I had suffered much less than I (or any of my friends) expected I would from the side effects of the treatment. Dr. Hahl’s nursing and technical staff was first-rate—especially his principal nurse, Jennifer Hardesty. They were compassionate, kind and unfailingly upbeat, and did a great deal to keep my spirits up during my treatment. Dr. Hahl is first class.
