Had to battle cancer again that swelled a lymphnode. Dr. G and his team removed it and 45 more. A dental review showed an area on tongue to re- examine. Dr. Groves' PA Megan biopsied it a fast 3 days later - her reassurance meant the world to me. I have now met most of the ENT staff and they are all caring and professional, answering every question I had. I am a Veteran and receive Well Star care through the VA. They partner with each other and I am delighted with their continued quick response and concern for my health. Five stars!

Dr Grove is one of the most caring and compassion doctor, he insuring the best possible outcome for the patient.. The best doctor I’ve ever met. Attentive, informative, kind and highly supportive and give incredible care. I cannot thank him enough! Every dedicated to this craft and represent the best of Crouse! This is something I will remember and talk about for a lifetime. The staff were all highly professional and personable, which is the best of both worlds.

Dr. Michael W. Groves is an outstanding physician and surgeon. I could not recommend him more highly. I detected a mass in my neck, so I visited my primary care physician at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG)/Augusta University Health. After some initial tests, I was referred to Dr. Groves also at MCG. He personally performed various tests, including Fine Needle Aspirations, and Core extractions to determine if the mass was cancerous. It was. Medical College of Georgia is an amazing institution that proves the best care. Dr. Groves frequently and effectively communicated with me every step of the way. I had full confidence in him and when he stated, "We can take care of this", I knew that I was in good hands. Dr. Groves was the attending physician for the surgery on my neck. After the surgery, I was not in any pain at all, which was refreshing. Dr. Groves specializes in Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery) and is the Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education.

My name is Tom Speigal, I am a 72-year-old male. I just finished seeing Dr. Groves, Dr. Edelmayer and Intern Lauren Reid because I have been experiencing frequent nosebleeds. I have an extensive family history with cancer and I was very concerned that I may be experiencing a form of nasal cancel like my father had experienced several years before Dr. Groves and Dr. Edelmayer did an extensive scoping of my nasal passages, throughout this procedure they took the time to tell me what they were doing and what they were looking for. Once the procedure was over they then went back and went over the entire process, explaining in detail everything they were looking for and what they found. Their total professionalism and sincere concern greatly reduced my level of anxiety and I cannot thank them enough for taking the time to fully explain everything to me. I would absolutely recommend anyone experiencing these type of symptoms to see these two totally professional physicians.

approximately two months I visited Dr. Groves multiple times during June and July of 2020. Dr. Groves was very welcoming and maintained a genial and positive attitude. His diagnosis was quick and accurate, he listened to the things I told him (did not ignore my comments), he gave detailed responses to all of my questions and concerns, and his course of treatment was perfect. My treatment included a surgical procedure that went fantastically well.

Dr. Groves is great to work with and takes the time to makes sure you completely understand what is going on with your treatments. As treating, he also makes sure you are as comfortable as possible. I can’t say enough about Dr. Groves and his consideration and care of his patients.

Dr. Groves is a very knowledgeable Dr. with a great bedside manner. I’m blessed that he performed my surgery. I’ve healed with no residual nerve damage and could have easily had facial paralysis if not for his skill and patiences in removing a tumor which was located very close to a major nerve. Dr. Groves is a very caring and conscientious physician. He took excellent care of me. He is innovative and I believe always looking for ways to improve the science of cancer treatments. He involves the patient very much in their own care. Dr. Groves is always available to his patients for any questions or concerns they may have.

From my initial visit with Dr. Groves, through my cancer diagnosis, surgery and follow up appointments, I have come to think of Dr. Groves with great respect, and admiration for his knowledge, skill and experience. At all times through my treatment Dr. Groves has communicated and explained in detail my medical plan. My questions have always been thoughtfully considered and answered with compassion. The excellent and efficient staff always aided me in a timely and courteous manner.

I had the pleasant experience to deal with Dr Groves when my brother needed his services. He and his associates were so helpful and informative explaining what procedures were needed and being done. Dr Groves did a wonderful job with the surgery he performed on my brother’s head and neck. My brother has had a great recovery time and little scaring. My brother is 87 years old and not in the best of health, but with Dr Groves care he has done marvelous.

Dr. Groves performed a 10 hour surgery on me for oral cancer. He was an answer to prayer. He is a skilled, thoughtful professional w/ great compassion and patience.
