Dr. Gottschalk is an outstanding surgeon. He clearly answer all my questions. I like how he explain my Surgery as he proform it. He took the tim to call me the next day at home to see how I was doing. Nothing can top this. His action tell it all. HE CARES.

Dr. Gottschalk made me comfortable from the first moment I meet him. He made me feel important. If you need a caring and competent doctor, then he is the answer to all your needs. I went in with pain and came out painless, and this was just after surgery. If I needed to have my surgery again, hands down I would want him to do it. The staff is just as sweet and kind. They treat you like family, and makes every visit to the office as swiftly as possible. If you are one of those who require more time, that's not a problem. So, if you are having problems with your hand or wrist get on in to see Dr. Gottschalk. Even his name is fun to say.

I had a stellar experience with Dr. Gottschalk and his team. I got my trigger finger release surgery and had no swelling and minimal pain from the incision. I was off pain killer after two days and my recovery is speedy by any standard. Class act on all fronts.

I would recommend Dr. Gottschalk. He was professional and kind - explaining the surgical procedure in a clear way and giving his expectations for a very good outcome following surgery. Also, my post-op course has been amazingly pain free and uncomplicated.

I would highly recommend Dr. Gottschalk to anyone. The pain from arthritis in my shoulder was almost immediately relieved from the surgery he preformed. The rehab went incredibly well and in less than 6 months my range of motion has increased significantly. I have been able to do things I haven't been able to do for quite a while without pain- sports, working out, etc.

very kind and serious Doctor .Would recommend him to anyone! Operation was simple ,never knew anything till it was over. Not a lot of pain ,only took one pain pill . I can know bend fingers, still limited use ,but that is because of the bandages. No complaints at all!

Dr. Gottschalk is everything you hope a doctor will be. I thought caring doctors who spend more than 2 minutes with patients no longer existed, but he changed my mind. He's incredibly responsive and attentive. His interns and support staff were all exceptional, as well. Emory Orthopedics is an outstanding practice and how a medical practice should be run. I highly recommend.

Positive and realistic expectations set. Was told outcome would have been better if I had been seen sooner. Answering service discounted the seriousness and urgency of the referring doctor and refused to schedule sooner. Office staff was patient, kind, clear, and helpful.

From the very beginning, Dr G has been absolutely PHENOMENAL! He explained my issue in terms that I clearly understood. He gave me treatment options, explaining each one thoroughly. He reassured me constantly, taking away any nervousness or apprehension I had.
The outcome of my procedure has been awesome! There isn’t another orthopedic surgeon I’d go to as long as Dr G is still practicing!
