Dr. Michael Gordon, MD

Dr. Gordon was the head of my Medical Care Team treating my cancer... he was extremely knowledgeable and provided a clear and thorough explanation of the remaining marginal cancer cells he observed in my PET scan, taken after surgery had removed a malignant lesion. He also reviewed in detail the chemo and radiation treatment I was to expect over 6 weeks of daily (M-F) treatment. His nurses and support staff were excellent and Dr. Gordon personally met with me every few weeks and after the last treatment, to review my treatment progress and answer any questions we had. Several months later, after another PET scan, he happily confirmed that the new scan showed his chemo treatment, along with his team's radiation treatment, was successful... and that I was "clear" of the cancerous cells in the previously infected area! I could not have had a more competent Oncologist caring for me, so I highly recommend Dr. Gordon.

My first visit with Dr. Gordon was stellar! I was just diagnosed with cancer and he spent and enormous amount of time with my wife and I explaining everything and answering all our questions. He is personable, listens well, anticipate questions, and is very sympathetic to your situation. He far surpassed my expectations as did his staff who were very nice and helpful. I have experienced other oncologists and Dr. Gordon is head and shoulders above them all. I consider myself so lucky to have him as one of my doctors!

Initially when my wife started seeing him things were pretty good. There appeared to be interest in her cancer and treatment. However as time advanced and what he tried did not work he seemed to loose interest. When she went into his clinical study things really took a turn. Again his experimental treatments did nothing and he completely lost interest. It was like he was no longer her doctor and she had to demand to see him from the assistant doctors working for him. My wife lost her battle with cancer last year and I had notified his nurse about her passing but never heard anything from them. I also wrote a letter to him a couple months later and still no contact from anyone at all. It is as if once she was no longer making money for them she was nothing. It has been a year and still nothing and it still upsets me.

Our initial visit with Dr. Gordon was relaxed, very thorough and very professional and informative. His pleasing demeanor made both my husband and I very comfortable In what could have been a stressful time.

Very pompous. Aftercare attention is lacking. Unhelpful staff.

Has a very caring manner and explains everything to you.
