My favorite doctor!
Dr. Guidice is an amazing physician. I’ve been a patient for over 7 years and have never had a bad experience. He’s always positive and doesn’t make me feel silly when I ask questions. He takes my concerns seriously. He’s delivered 2 out of 3 of my babies and each time was a positive experience. Honestly, every doctor in the practice is great!

Not a fan
He doesn’t really listen to your concerns. And he makes assumptions about your lifestyle. Borderline disrespectful if you ask me. He talks about irrelevant things instead of what concerns you.

Dr Giudice, who was not my Dr, decided to fill in for the female Dr I requested without my awareness or consent. I wasn’t made aware of this change until I was half naked and he walked in the room with a tech and a nurse practitioner. He decided to use me to teach his new nurse practitioner how to insert an IUD. An already painful and uncomfortable procedure. I was offered no option to reschedule or deny, as they swiftly moved in the room, urging me to feel comfortable, because she had practiced on a model. I felt pressured to agree to this as they moved into position and started the process. They placed and replaced the tenaculum several times, as I yelled out many times, and Laura Rossbach, the nurse practitioner, struggled to figure out what to do. Finally Dr Giudice quickly and roughly completed the procedure. This was not only extremely painful but also risked puncturing my uterus by being so quickly forceful. After the procedure he did apologize but also expressed that they he knew I was uncomfortable with the situation but still decided to go with it. Stating “everyone needs to start somewhere” and this “wasn’t his first ro-day-oh”. I asked why I wasn’t offered some type of anesthetic due to the potential extra discomfort I was surely to experience due to the absolute novice level experience of the NP, he said that didn’t exist- which it certainly does. Dr Michael Giudice does not consider the patient and their comfort. I expected an experienced and compassionate staff for this procedure and my body was completely disrespected. For such an emotionally and physically sensitive area of medicine my person-hood was disregarded. They might be friendly, but they did not care about me.

Annual visit
I travel a solid hour to visit this office and it is so worth it! The entire staff is so nice and pleasant and upbeat! Aside from your exam, Dr. Guidice spends time just chatting, not rushing in and rushing back out. I tried seeing someone closer to home and had to return to this office. Best office ever!

Would Not Recommend
He was behind schedule (heard him say it a few times outside the door) and I felt like I was a burden to him. He just tried to rush me out. Wanted me to get a CT scan to confirm nothing else was going on (I’m okay with that logic), but tells me to go to the hospital or see if my primary will write me one. Horrible experience!

Doctor Giudice and the other doctors at Capital Women’s Health were great to deal with. Dr. Giudice was knowledgeable, friendly, low key, compassionate, and willing to answer questions. He was not standoffish at all. Internal examination conducted by the doctor was not painful like some gynecological exams can be. Surgery also went well and was without any major complications. I would definitely recommend Dr. Giudice and plan on returning to the practice that he is with for any further needed care.

Dr Giudice is an excellent and compassionate doctor! My son was born in the posterior position which can be associated with a higher risk of tearing and I truly think he is a big reason why I didn't need a single stitch! He was absolutely wonderful at avoiding interventions other doctors may have been quick to go to.
