Unresponsive Office
I have been having problems with how Chicago ENT bills. My last bill was for significantly more than I was quoted. There is a phone number on the bill to call if you have questions. Problem is, they do not answer the phone. After being on hold for a while I was asked to leave a name and number and someone would call me back. Four days later and no one has called me back. I’ve also emailed the office three times now asking for billing assistance. All have gone unanswered. If you want a medical office with transparency and is responsive, look elsewhere.

Unnecessary testing and terrible patient care
Dr Friedman ordered a series of four tests upon my first visit after he examined me for a few minutes. Two of them were completely unnecessary (as I have been told by several other ENTs now) and quite costly. And, every single person who answers the phone is very limited in how they can help; not at all able to problem-solve. Absolute waste of many months of testing and now almost $1,000 in bills - after insurance.

Unnecessary Nasal SIurgery
I was referred to Dr. Friedman by a Sinus specialists from Advocate Christ Hodpitsl. My initials complaints were Dizzyness, Congestion and Ringing in my right ear. After meeting with Dr. Friedman he ordered several imagining test and also scheduled me for a Nasal surgery which I did not need. At this point I must mention that Dr. Friedman was in such a hurry to get me in and out until he did not give the Anastasia time to work and the pain was so excruciating he had to stop the procedure several times. After coming back to Doctor Friedman for follow up visits for the surgery I did not need. He informed me that his speciality was not the Ear and that my hearing loss and dizzyness was something I would just have to live with or at the very least get a hearing aid. Horrible Doctor Horrible experience.

Poor bedside manner
Always in a rush. doesn't like to answer questions. Maybe he should read what the AMA urges patients to do -- to ask questions!!

The front staff is the face of any doctor's practice.I made an appointment 2 weeks ago on their website.Chicagoent.com.I received a calendar appointment to my google calendar. I thought I was all set.I was told that there is no appointment on the schedule with my name. The person was very abrupt and rude. I have been waiting for two weeks to find some relief. She had no compassion or even willingness to help, even though this a technical error on their side. I asked if there was any way to be seen, even with a different doctor. She told me there were no other doctors there today. I went back to speak to the office manager. I did.She got me in to see a DIFFERENT doctor. For my follow up,She scheduled me 2 different days. I asked for a day that I could do both appointments. She very rudely told me, "I SAID THEY ONLY OFFER THE TEST ON TUES AND WED.!"She is saying this to someone who CANNOT hear.I was so taken aback that I told her "I didn't hear you!".They need professionalism training !
