Care Less physician!
He literally, could careless about what you tell him. What he puts in his dictation is completely different than what you explain as your issue. Amazingly he spends 30 seconds in your room, talks over you, is arrogant......them dictates his notes as if he spent 15 mins! Therefore, you end up being improperly treated by the other physicians. Which, if the nurses see his poor actions, why can't the physicians???? My home med list is different than how they are prescribed. I have a couple of meds that are "take 3-daily, as needed. Which if I took 3 a day, I would be asleep 24 hrs. I explain that I only take to sleep, when I have insomnia, or have to work and need to make sure I sleep. There are also meds listed that I no linger take, but the staff, do not update my list. Instead of Dr Floyd, discussing the meds......he dictates that you have an excessive med list. Which would be a concern that he SHOULD, address, but dosesnt, yet makes you sound to be a pill popper!

This doctor saw my mother in the hospital after she had been there already for days he was overbearing and belligerent and told me that all of the other doctors over the last 4 days who told me what her hemoglobin levels had been were in error when I corrected him on the numbers he was spewing out. He had obviously been reviewing someone else’s chart but absolutely refused to admit it. Scary to think that this man is overseeing patients.

Bedside manner is deplorable. Arrogant, dismissive, and lacking compassion. Wouldn't send my dog to him. If Mr. Floyd is your hospitalist, ask for another. He needs to go back to school and learn how to listen to his patients.

Dr Floyd is a hospitalist who prescribed a blood thinner for me after 2 stents were inserted in my right coronary artery. He now refuses to approve the transfer of the prescription from a local pharmacy to the mail order plan. Without this transfer, the copay for a month's supply will rise from $5 to over $300.
