Very blessed and grateful for Dr Fischbein’s team with my major heart surgery and correct 2 major problems. Very thorough, explain everything carefully and clearly, provide options and recommendation, and statistical assurance. Gave family regular status updates during surgery and in ICU. Gave me 2nd chance in life and I will cherish for the rest of my life. Stanford and his entire team were excellent and very diligent. Phenomenal and amazing Cardiac unit care. Now a lifelong Stanford patient.

I was fortunate to have this world class surgeon operate on me on March 8, 2021. Another physician remarked that I had arguably one of the most complicated surgeries you could have. It involved cardiac and pulmonary bypass and repair of an aortic abdominal aneurysm. Dr. Fischbein is kind, patient and incredibly humble. He was on his feet for 10 1/2 hours and had his nurse manager give periodic updates to my son. I could not have had better care.

Dr. Fischbein (and team) handled my aortic dissection in 2016. I slept through the whole thing (ha!) but my wife who is a RN filled me in on how great they were and the constant communication they kept up with her and my family. It was touch and go for a long while but I'm happy to say all went well and my recovery/follow-up visits have been great. I feel I was blessed that Dr. Fischbein did my surgery and my wife agrees. Thank you Doctor Fischbein!

On July 27 2117 I went into the operating room 7:30 am in the morning and came out of the operating room at 9:30 pm at night. Dr Fischbein replaced my Aortic heart valve, the aortic root, and did a double bypass of 100 and 95 percent blockages. Now after 5 months from the surgery I am realizing what my wife went through during the 14 hours I was in surgery. Dr Fischbein took care of me, the staff took care of my wife expertly. Serious operation I said? He said "like 3 serious operations!!"
