In the event of the worst experience in my life, this guy gave us a large reality check. My son was in a near drowning and the majority of his brain died that day from hypoxia. He is very blunt, doesn't explain things the best, but the guy knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him. He's not going to sugar coat everything, although it may sound rude, he's being very straight forward with you.

Dr. Dowling spent a lot of time with us. He went through our daughter’s complete history, asking tons of questions as we went. He then took a lot of time explaining what he thought was going on, making sure that we understood everything. He was funny, personable, and very, very thorough. My daughter and I were very impressed with his level of care!

Dr Dowling spent a very long time examining my son. He was knowledgeable, personable, and very communicative. He was the 4th neurologist that we had seen and by far the best. I just feel like he enjoyed his job and he interacted with my son in a way that made me the mom feel very relieved and comfortable. I would highly recommend him.

He is extreamly rude and demeaning! He has no business treating children. He has zero compassion and I will tell everyone I know to avoid him!

Dr, Dowling is abusive, dismissive, and arrogant. He seems to revel in berating parents and their care of their children while not providing alternative directions for the parents to take.
