At 1st visit he walked into room not even knowing who he was talking to. Ask spouse which one of us was Christina. Then after that he asked my husband what i was doing while having a seizure and he basically called him a liar to his face that seizures dont happen that way. After that any other appointments I had with him nothing changed, never asked me how I was feeling etc. At one point he said there was new meds he could change but then he couldn't assure me that I wouldn't have any more seizures. At this point I was told several times that I could not see anybody else in same office because Dr Dew released me and that I would have to see someone else in a different practice. I was never informed of this. So I would never refer Anyone to see Dr Dew.

Seems to be a physician
I cannot find a reason to visit again. After 2 years he has done nothing for me. Sent me to have a MR of my skull and never even had the curtesy to review the test he ordered. My problems have become more acute. Last visit waited 2 and a half hours in waiting room to be informed by a PA I had never met that they had lost my records and did not know why I was in the office. Dr called my home, left a message, apologized and said he would call again on Monday. Never heard from him again.

Dr. Dew
Was referred to Dr. Dew from the ER for seizures, where I was placed on medication for them. Dr. Dew did do a thorough exam on me and his did change my medication as the one the ER had me on wasn’t for the type of seizures I was having. He was open and honest with both my husband and myself and extremely professional along with answering our questions. My 1st appointment was easily an hour, we’re he went over my health history with us. His nurse returns call’s within 24hrs or quicker.

Hated it.. He made me feel Awful and disrespected.
I felt totally dismissed with his bedside manner and his Own Words "I've never heard this medicine causing suicidal thoughts BUT WHAT EVER". Should be never words out a doctor's mouth.

Rude and doesn't listen. Blamed my chronic, debilitating migraines on me having kids and period hormones when I repeatedly told him I have never had kids and have had a hysterectomy. I was referred to him for neuropathy which he blamed on type 2 diabetes which I do not have. When I tried to switch providers, he would not let me see anyone else at his practice. 2 years later, a better doctor at a different practice ran appropriate tests and discovered MS. Had I been left to the care of Dr. Dew, I would have been gaslit to the end. Horrible doctor, horrible treatment, horrible office manager.

No bedside manner, rude to my friend who is had already told him was there to HELP me as I forget things to ask, he demanded she leave the room when she was simply trying to talk to him, then became rude with me as well. I have fine motor skill impairment, speech impairment, short term memory loss, comprehension trouble yet he says whatever is wrong with me, it’s NOT neurological?!?!

Dr. Dew was my third neurologist. I was as skeptical that he could help me as he was that he could help me too since I had tried most everything. However, he suggested a few different things the others hadn't tried. You do have to overlook his dry personality and not take it personally. Most neurologists are a little different. He made such a difference for me and I really appreciate him.

Dr. Dew's aloof bedside manor is the tip of the iceberg. My father was referred to him for suspected Alzheimers's disease. Dr. Dew never attempted to communicate with family members unless they were present for appointments, and even then, the interactions were hardly encouraged or helpful. His examinations consisted of having a patient visually scan to right and left, and squeezing his fingers. On our last visit, he failed to recognize my father had a high fever, and didn't question why dad was suddenly in a wheelchair, or do anything more once he was told that dad fell, striking his head on pavement that morning. Head wrapped in gauze never removed for examination, dad was sent home, with a change of medications. Several hours later he was admitted to the ER with severe sepsis and later died. Two months afterward, Dr. Dew's office called to remind us of an upcoming appointment. My mom called to make them aware, but of course, had to leave a message which was never returned.

Came to this doctor with a very, very desperate situation. Disregarded my symptoms and took no tests. Told me what my condition was an declared me cured of it on the same breath. An awful, embarrassing situation. Prescribed me extremely dangerous medication with no reason given.
