The initial visit was fine however, when deciding to get another opinion, the receptionist called me to confront me about it, said it was fine but then canceled the appointment I had with them. I asked her to give me until later in the day to decide because we had already paid several hundred dollars to the office, and I wasn't sure we would be going anywhere else. I tried to explain my perspective, need to understand insurance billing, etc. and was told she already spent too much time explaining those things to me and working with my insurance. I attempted to explain while she is used to dealing with insurance and the cost of extractions, I am not which is why when I learned of a possible cheaper route, I was exploring it. I did not want-mean to cause a problem for them. I asked for a partial refund and was told I would get NOTHING back and she was done talking to me. She accused me of coming at her, made rude comments about my family, and ended up hanging up on me.

No rushing. Friendly. Informs you every step of the way. Gave an honest opinion.

First Rate Oral Surgeon. I had a wisdom tooth pulled a week ago. I would recommend Dr DeGould to anyone especially those with an aversion to the dentist or a parent who has a child needing an extraction. The entire procedure was painless. Every step was explained to make you comfortable. The price was reasonable too.

The virus was a big problem with apptmts and my dentist was 80 miles away--- he was in Freeport the day I was given his number to provide emergency services......I had to drive 40 miles to get to him but needed assistance immediately....I had a bad tooth that had abscessed badly....The receptionist took my call and told me to get there asap and they would get me in. It took longer to get there than the extraction and all that goes with it to complete......THANK YOU DOC AND kELLY FOR TAKING CARE OF THIS FOR ME.....GREAT SERVICE -- GREAT COMMUNICATION...IN LESS THAN 8 HOURS I WAS WORKING IN THE GARDEN AND WAS GETTING READY FOR 4 COLONIES OF BEES COMING TO ME FROM FLORIDA......ALSO THANKS TO THE WOMAN WORKING THE FRONT DESK.......IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DENTIST LOOK NO FURTHER......WE SHOULD GET TOGETHER SOMETIME AND TALK BEES....

Ive had 6 teeth pulled how over the purse of my life, 2 of which were by Dr. DeGould. The two he pulled were the easiest Ive had pulled and they were both wisdom teeth (usually the worst ones to get pulled) I had them pulled on 2 separate weeks and both times I was called back about as soon as I got there (before the scheduled apt) and he had me stitched up and out of there before I even knew he pulled the tooth. He explains everything in laymans terms and even had me laughing. Highly recommend!

I received caring and compassionate care at Dr. DeGould's office. The Dr. & staff were knowledgeable and pleasant. They made me feel very comfortable.
