Dr. Michael De Jesus, MD

Dr. De Jesus is intelligent and clearly experienced. However, in my own experience, he is too quick to form conclusions. In my appointment with him last year, he spent less than 5 minutes talking to me about my symptoms, and stated that it was simply all in my head. Weeks later, I had my gallbladder removed because it was barely functioning. I should add that I am a healthy 22 year old and this was obviously not a common condition that he would have recognized from one appointment; but he barely listened to what I was saying about my symptoms and was reluctant to even do other testing to find out what the actual issue was. My short interaction with him was overall disappointing and discouraging, given the fact that I had been struggling with mysterious symptoms for almost 6 months, finally went to get help, and was told that I was making up these symptoms and that they weren't real. Dr. De Jesus should consider slowing down and listening more carefully to his patients.

I have been seeing Dr. DeJesus and his PAs April and Sara for a long time and they r the best gi drs i have ever seen they don’t treat people like crap just because they have medical issues and when i seen other gi drs in the past somewhere else they didn’t even do tests to see what was wrong with me and Dr. DeJesus did tests and found gastroparesis and some other things and they have been trying there hardest to help me but other gi drs all told me my symptoms were all in my head but Dr. DeJesus and his PAs have helped me allot i will never see anyone else other then at that practice ever again thank u

Dr DeJesus is very kind and gentle. He explained things to me in words I could understand. He made my visits less stressful. I would definitely recommend him

He went out of his way to help my mother while she was in the hospital. Excellent bedside manner.
