I had a huge unusual benign liquid filled cyst behind/underneath all my organs, trying to take space needed by said organs. It drastically interfered with life/living. It was difficult to reach, and outright removal could be dangerous and quite major. Dr. D'Angelica tried ascending approaches. We partially aspirated it, but the cyst filled right back up. Eventually the Dr. brainstormed and he came up with a novel approach to neutralize the cyst forever without the difficulty of removing the cyst wall, which was attached in multiple spots to different organs and such. It worked perfectly, and I returned to 100% normal with a couple weeks! I cannot think of a better outcome than the one which occurred. The man is extremely competent and a decent guy to boot.

Dr. d'Angelica came up with the right diagnosis and devised the right plan for me, despite an equivocal MRI. I'm very happy with surgery, treatment, and results. Dr. d'Angelica is personable, straightforward, and always ready to answer questions. An A+ to him and his team!

Horrific bedside manners. It’s almost shocking that MSK would employee a physician like him. Oh and his liver pump mess he does.... stay away! It’s a nightmare and the staff at MSK told my family when they would have trouble accessing the pump that they weren’t all trained! We demanded a rep from the Medtronic come and train their staff AGAIN because most had no idea what they were doing. I have so much more to share but I’ll wait til a later time.

I didn't feel comfortable with this doctor. Thankfully I can't speak to his surgical skills because thus far I haven't needed surgery. Maybe the next time I meet with him he will make me feel more at ease.

In 2015 my little brother broke his foot. While in the hospital he was diagnosed with metastatic liver cancer. His only hope was surgical removal of the 3 tumors on his liver. Dr. D'Angelica reviewed the MRI and told us "definitely operable, but let's wait until the foot heals and the chemo shrinks the tumors . ." So we all thought, "OK, he's the expert, let's follow his advice." Several months later when we returned to Dr. D'Angelica, he looked at the recent MRI and said, "Oh Gee, the tumors have grown and are now no longer operable . . so sorry." Why didn't he tell us about the risks of waiting to operate!! My brother died a horrible death a few months later and Dr. D'Angelica was no where to be found. Stay away from this smooth talking, research driven doctor who seems more interested in making a name for himself even if it is at the expense of his patients. I will never forget Dr. D'Angelica, the creep who robbed my little brother of his only chance of survival.

My father went to see Dr. D’Angelica after they found a mass on his pancreas. As per Dr. D’Angelica, the mass HAD to be cancer because of my Dad’s previously bout with cancer. He has major, complicated surgery and removes a large portion of my Dad’s pancreas, and knicks the colon in there. Needless to say, this doctor has ruined my Dad’s life. This knick was poorly fixed, and my Dad had 7 other MAJOR surgeries and almost died countless timeshare because of this carelessness. And it wasn’t cancer
