Dr. Michael Cheikin, MD

Dr. Cheikin is extremely supportive, intelligent, and down to earth. I feel so lucky that I was able to find such a genuine holistic doctor in my area that works with insurance. He really explains the reason behind everything we do and looks at the whole picture rather than just my symptoms. He goes above and beyond to help me.

As a female patient I am extremely disturbed by an accusation against a doctor that his spent his life trying to help people. His visits are tailored to individual need in order to make a correct assessment. Also, as someone that has worked with sexual assault victims for over 15 years-I employ you to think before making assumptions about a person AND suggest that you don’t label all holistic doctors into one category. Your lack of education and understanding of the law, the world, & holistic practice is gleaming in your comments. You should consider taking the same amount of time he has spent in school and doing research... taking a look in the mirror to access why you would make such a comment with absolutely no facts to back it up. Dr. Cheikin is the most reliable, smart, and truly caring doctor I have ever seen. He is very knowledgable and I can honestly say my experiences seeing him has changed my life. As knowledgable as he is, YOU as the patient, need to be willing to put in the time and effort that your body needs in order to heal, but I will tell you from experience it is well worth it. I would recommend Dr. Cheikin 1 million times over to anyone. Any other doctor will push modern medicine and make you feel like a fool for what you are feeling in your own body, not Dr. Cheikin. He will always listen to his patients and never disregard anything you say. The staff are also so friendly and accomodating, more than any other doctors office I've been to. As for the other review with the gown appointment.. that's for the physical he does, same as any other doctor would do, and there was another woman in the room which I'm sure was there to protect him from comments like that.

I would strongly recommend staying away from Michael Cheikin. He takes advantage of his female patients. Why does he require female patients to wear only a hospital gown during the initial visit? Isn't that odd? What other holistic doctor does that? He did things that I found very questionable during that visit.

I have been seeing Dr Cheikin since 2014 after having a cancerous tumor removed . You get an education regarding your condition ,he takes his time with you. He did a through job of checking my blood work ...vitamins and minerals included . There is no more acid reflux medication needed although I take a stomach acid replacement AND watch my diet. I would highly recommend seeing him if you have health issues. The staff has always been kind and helpful. I feel good.

Dr Cheiken was recommended from a friend. I have been seeing him for 1.5 years now. I was absolutely amazed by what I've learned and the process he takes you through. My random heart issues were simply a lack of magnesium and other issues have improved along with my general well-being. I buy my vitamins and nutrients there and I've have price checked the internet and he is the cheapest on everything so far which makes me feel good about buying them from him. This is the future of health care.
