Top Ophthalmologist
Dr. Cassell is an excellent physician and surgeon. I needed retina surgery and he and his staff were able to work me in very quickly. Staff is wonderful, too. Very good care and follow up and easy scheduling.

Thorough
Some times you wait; but if I'm the person with the problem in the room I want his undivided attention. This is what you get. I have never felt rushed or pushed to move on. Always a quality exam, all questions are answered.

I see Dr. Caldwell for follow up on a past retinal surgery and monitoring possible issues that might occur related to current meds. He is amazing!! I trust his judgement and his exams are thorough. He is knowledgeable about my previous eye problems and answers my questions.

Had cataract on eye so bad was actually blind in that eye for two years.Dr.Cassell amazing I now have 20/20 vision in that eye after removal.Don’t need glasses and best I’ve seen in 55 years.Have worn glasses since I was 10 y/o

I was referred to Dr Casell by a neurologist after my first ophthamologist told me that my eyes were perfectly normal and that I had a brain injury from a fall. The neurologist quickly determined that there was no brain injury and sent me on to Dr Casell who found I had a torn retina. I was so relieved to know what my eye problem was, and after repair surgery, my sight has been restored to 20/20. I am very grateful, and highly recommend Dr Casell and Sabates Eye Center.
