He saved my life from BRCA1 stage 4 ovarian cancer. Got an extra decade. now back to handle a recurrence triggered by long Covid, and I have full confidence he’ll help me get thru it again. he is enthusiastic & can be a determined taskmaster - he knows what you need to do based on up-to-date scientific findings and he will tell you that. He’s not very good at getting back to you with questions because he’s so busy with so many patients but when I am there and I do see him he gives me his full attention, answers all my questions. Up-beat, personable. I think he’s a great guy.m and no, I’m in the best hands in the state to deal with this type of cancer

Dr. Carney and team were very courteous and took the extra time to answer all my questions. I felt heard and feel confident he and the team will do everything they can to instill confidence as I head into surgery.

Very disappointing visit today. I went there for a second opinion. I took my records there weeks before scheduled visit and personally handed them to Lee Ann. She said they would be scanned for Dr. C's review. I arrived 20 minutes early for 1PM visit. Another woman was also scheduled same time. At 1:30PM vitals taken, put me in room. At 2PM I came out to ask when I'd be seen. I was told the doctor was reviewing my records, soon. Dr. Carney came in around 2:20pm. He knew nothing about why I was there. He'd never seen my records. He'd been called to surgery that morning and everything was late. Not one staff member had offered any explanation. I was able to talk with Dr. Carney, he was kind and empathetic, but he had no idea about my case and could offer me nothing specific. I asked him for review of my records after visit, but my confidence in that happening is zero. I hope I'm wrong. LeeAnn scanned in my records AFTER my visit. That office is neither efficient nor effective. :(

Dr. Carney was exceptional from in taking care of my mom. He was showed us kindness, understanding, and patience. I didn’t imagine that she would receive the wonderful treatment she got knowing how busy he is. I’m thankful that I have her by my side today. From surgery to chemo, it was difficult but made the visits as best as it could especially most of his wonderful staff. Many people underestimate the amount of effort and skill doctors put into helping their patients. Dr. Carney went above and beyond. There are no words to compare how grateful I am.

Dr Carney refused to give me 24hours to think about surgery. I simply requested 24hrs to give such an important decision some thought. I planned to fax the form to his office the next day if I decided to go ahead with the surgery. He, insisted several times that I sign their surgery form that very instant, and I was shocked when he went so far as to crumple up the surgery form when exiting the 'discussion room' very rudely.
