A diabetic relative has been a patient of Dr. Cardinal for over twenty years; yet, Dr. Cardinal did not identify or treat an infection which resulted in the amputation of the foot. Was this a lack of knowledge or just neglect by the doctor. Dr. Cardinal claims to treat diabetics, but his actions make me think otherwise. I DO NOT recommend him at all.

I was extremely disappointed. His staff was friendly but did not care for him at ALL. I took my mom to him who is 94 and has dementia. She also has many medical problems besides the dementia; in addition to having terrible feet-mainly because of genetics. She has severe bunions (through no fault of her own) and also toenail disease; just for starters. Dr. Cardinal came into the room without so much as introduction or any attempt to appear caring or friendly. He took care of my mom's feet without saying anything at all and then just left. My mom asked him about pain in her foot and he basically ignored her. He didn't ask if we had any questions or make any other recommendations. He was EXTREMELY rude and condescending and will not EVER be going back to him. Also the ramp going into the office was quite steep and very difficult for my mom to navigate with her walker.

Dr. Cardinal and his staff are caring and efficient! He took the time to explain my condition and advise on different methods of correction. Very accommodating to my schedule and needs.
