In my over 50 years of experience with skin cancer and other skin issues, Dr. Borenstein and Gardens Dermatology is a winner! After moving to Jupiter 20 years ago, I have tried most of the "best" ..... and am happy to recommend Gardens. Dr. Shapiro, Dr. Borenstein and every one of the large staff is caring and competent!!!

Referred by a neighbor.....a great doctor. Mine had retired. Dr. B. gave the most thorough exam I have ever had. Found something on my shoulder that I did not even know about. It turned out to be a squamous cell cancer. All is well now thanks to him!!

This isn't so much about the doctor's abilities, as it is about his office practices. Dr. Borenstein recommended IPL for me as the preferred method to eliminate age spots, and I relied on his expertise to accept his recommendation. While his esthetician did her best and I have no complaints with her part of the service, the procedure showed little effect. He then recommended laser treatment. I fully expected some credit for the failed procedure, but no offer was made, and when I asked, they refused to offer anything. Think about this in terms of any business selling a defective service or product, which is exactly what it is, not as a doctor treating a patient, and the resolution should have been as crystal clear to them, as it was to me. For this reason I would not recommend this doctor.
