Caring and attentive
We have seen Dr Booker over the past 6 years and he has performed multiple surgeries on my daughter for an ongoing condition- some planned and others emergent. He has been wonderful. He pushes back when appropriate and knows his limitations. Giving his honest opinion but also being open to discussion and reassessment. He has taken extra time to make sure that the correct equipment was available (even making his own!) and he does not rush his surgeries. He is meticulous and precise. When our daughter had an accident and needed an unplanned surgery, he recognized her name when her case was discussed in conference, reached out to us and took on her surgery since he was already familiar with her condition. He genuinely cares about her outcome and has become a cherished partner in our daughter's care.

Less than desirable outcome. After surgery, outside MRI indicated pin in patella space (Booker would not order one) and had to book an additional surgery to remove it once it broke off and clear the quadricep contracture that was creating a disabled walk
