Professional staff and great staff. They put me at ease and it is as painless as possible because they know what they are doing. They are very compassionate.

Dr. Boedefeld was an amazing doctor. He listened to my concerns and handled them in a fashion way. He cared about my pain and helped me figure out what injection would work best for me and my pain. The front desk girl, Hannah, and the MA, Michelle, was awesome!!

I’ve been trying to get in as a new patient for last two years getting referrals sent over from my primary care physician my first initial contact with the receptionist. She relayed it to me before I even schedule you an appointment this is just to remind you that we do not give out pain medication‘s if that’s what you were seeking you better go elsewhere. This was without even knowing why I was calling in the first place very rude and my paperwork has been sitting on Dr.’s desk for the last eight months and I’ve had called several times with no return phone calls and keep being told that he has a wait list now and that it would be expected to wait at least 6 - 8 months, but this has been going on two years now.

Dr. Boedefeld saw me immediately. Diagnosed the issue and gave me the procedure I needed right away and totally painless. Back pain solved. Highly recommended.

I have seen where people have left negative reviews about their experiences, but I have to say mine was quite the opposite. Living with pain is difficult for anyone and I know my patience wears very thin when I am not doing well. But I found Dr Boedefeld to be very responsive, cooperative with my primary, est a management plan, follow through and encouragement of my own follow up with therapy. The injections I had to have were far better than I thought they would be, and Dr B did a good job of managing my expectations. I have gotten substantial relief and am deeply grateful for the interventions that Dr Boedefeld and his team have provided.

Useless after 10 years never been out of pain! I think they’re paid a bonus per injection. He thinks everyone is going to get addicted to pain meds, doesn’t care how much you complain about the pain. Waste of time. Then you wait hours in line to get the injection, cause they overbooked. A real injustice to patients.

I was a new patient as my previous Dr. retired and waited 1 /1/2 hours to see Dr Boedefeld he walked in the room he did not seem to listen to what I was telling him about my backpain and past injections. Tried to refer me to physical therapy although I told him past referrals had not helped. HE told me that it would take up to a week to get insurance approval for injection my previous Dr. got same day approval. Scheduling another injection would require another office visit and co-pay. Not a good experience at all. I cancelled and will go somewhere else.

Dr. Boedefeld is the worst physician I have ever met. He is condescending and scoffs when I would talk. He has the empathetic intellect of a rock. Do not come to him unless you enjoy being ridiculed to your face. His staff is not helpful with anything and with the culture within his office they are learning to treat people as a number and not a person.

Mr. Boedefeld is rude, uncaring, and has zero empathy for anyone in pain. He is only there to stick needles in someone and doesn’t care if he helps or not. He will promise you anesthesia but won’t reschedule anyone if he can’t offer it in the day of procedures. My 80 year old mother had to have a bilateral RAF with zero anesthesia because no one contacted us about rescheduling. Do not go see him. He will openly mock you and laugh if he gets you upset. He uses his employees to give you the brush off because he is too big a coward to do it himself.

Could provide no recommendations to improve my pain issues that I have suffered for 10+ years. He spent maybe 20 minutes with me and his nurse kept on popping her head in the room obviously for him to move on to his next moneymaking appointment. He happily recommended I go to other doctors associated with SSM. He was unprepared and had not reviewed any of my medical records prior to the appmt. which was over seven years worth of doctors note and images from 10+ doctors. I personally spent two hours calling doctors office to have the records sent to him and he spent no more than 10 minutes looking at my records while I sat in the examination room with him. I am sick of doctors making $400 to 500+ dollars for one visit and they don’t do one thing to improve my condition. I’m done with all doctors. I’d rather do heroin than see another bogus doctor.

Terrible doctor. Kiosk doctor. Doesn’t listen, doesn’t examine, doesn’t diagnose, doesn’t make eye contact and if there isn’t a problem on imaging that he thinks hurts, he can’t help you. Then he may choose an injection procedure to a body part that doesn’t even hurt and if you don’t do that procedure, the receptionist Cheryl will tell you there’s no point in coming back. So you do the procedure, suffer consequences going on for months now, but they don’t care. They tell you to go to the ER in the middle of a pandemic when you can’t even get out of bed. They are trained to treat you as a drug addict the minute you walk in the door, so expect it if you choose to see this doctor. I asked for Dr. Shelton but got stuck with Boedefeld. They did not explain the risks of the procedure, Would not let me schedule an appt to discuss the procedure or other options. I regret allowing them to touch me, But I needed help. Zero stars. This guy’s an idiot.

An absolute disaster. I was referred to him because my pain doc of 11 years is retiring. RUN away! He has zero compassion or empathy. Doesn’t read through your records or attempt to understand your pain. Refuses to cooperate with insurance or even help taper from original meds. “A life is a life” was his response when questioned about suicides as a result of an abrupt end to pain management. He cited that the courts would be in his favor over a death by suicide vs a death by opioid overdose. To describe Dr. Boedefeld in one word: Heartless.

I would recommend him to anyone .I have received shots in L4 and L5 I have usually needed a series of 3 and have down that about 3 times now they last me maybe 6 to 12 months after each series I get the sedation so I dont move .I find the Dr kind of quiet but I ask questions and he gives me the time I need I also think his staff is great

First time patient seeing this Doctor. Was not impressed. His bedside manners need major improvement. Did not go over entire history nor did he seem to care. Previous MRI's were sent for review. Prior doctor stated back was getting worse and this Doctor pushed for 3rd MRI. WOW. Makes me wonder what his intent is. Meanwhile I have been in pain well over a month, hard to do daily activities. If it were his mother, what would he do???

I’m not one who usually writes reviews but I had to rave about my experience. I have been in pain for so long and no one had ever been able to pin point what was actually causing the pain. Some doctors even tried to just prescribe medication. I don’t want that. It only masks the pain, it doesn’t help the true problem. Dr. Boedefeld was able to figure out what was causing my pain and how to treat it. Now it did take a couple of different types of injection treatments but he did it!! The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and calmed my anxieties. They were always available to help during my 50 phone calls to the office. I highly recommend this pain management clinic. They all truly care.

Missed a fractured hip 5 times, gave me spinal Injection and couldn't understand why I was still In pain. Released me from hospital with the same broken hip. Could not walk or bear weight on left side but released me anyway treating me like a drug seeking low life I tried to explain I was only An elderly person tryin to walk but it didn't seem to matter. Very rude and began to tell me he saw me Walk and I had witness with me that informed him Otherwise. PLEASE SAVE Yourself the Degradation and humiliation and GO ELSEWHERE QUICKLY!!

I saw Dr. Boedefeld for severe back pain that I was having. He was so helpful and the pain is now 80 percent gone after 2 weeks. I am so grateful to him and his staff.

I explaine to Dr. Boedefeld that I have received the steroid injections without any real relief, had the ablasion also with no relief. I felt like the injections were, once again, being forced on me, even though I know how I reacted from them and know my body. They acted like they didn't believe me that this procedure did not work for me and then treated me like I was an addict or something. I, like so many others, are not part of the opoid crisis, but unfortunately are treated as such.

Run far away. This doctor has no empathy for people in pain. He is disrespectful and does not listen. He doesn't believe patients are in pain. He will be the cause of patient suicides due to refusing treatment to those in chronic pain.
