I met Dr. Blackmon after i woke up from my coma. Dr Blackmon saved my life and will be a life long patient. I would recommend him to anyone that is unfortunate enough to have pulmonary issues. He is extremely knowledgeable and funny. its always a pleasure to go in for check ups.

Dr Blackmon is by far one of the best doctors I have to date. I have been a patient for many years, and it was Dr Blackmon that personally took special interest in my condition. This interest is likely the only reason I made it out of critical care. Extremely personal, and has a personality that keeps the patient at ease. There is no other pulmonologist I would see. The entire staff at SW Pulmonary is fantastic

What a horrible experience! My husband has ended up with the Dr. a few times through the ER. He will NOT listen to the patient or the caregiver! He gives a run around if you ask a question, he will be happy to tell you that HE is the Doctor and not you!!!! Horrible, horrible bedside manner and he is not a physician that I would recommend to anyone! I had to pull my husband out of the hospital to take him to a real Dr.
