I visited Dr. Berry after well over 12 years of back pain but earlier this year I pulled my back so bad that my L4 L5 were slipped and pinching the nerve down my leg. I couldn’t walk without a cane or a walker. End result is that Dr. Berry got me in and took care of me. I was nervous before meeting Dr. Berry but after meeting him and hearing his knowledge of my problem gave me confidence in putting my back in his hands. I was up at walking after 2 hours of my surgery, without a cane or walker. I haven’t felt this good in well over 12 years and can now sleep over 6 hours in bed without my back locking up on me anymore and no pain during the day any longer. Thank you Dr. Berry for the AMAZING job on relieving the pain I no longer have.

He wanted to know why I came back to see him did I want surgery now. I came back because pain management sent me. Advised him I was scared of a fusion. Instead of reassuring me he said it would not help with back pain and may not help pressure in legs. But I wasn’t going to be paralyzed if didn’t have it. So why have it? He took X-rays and didn’t go over them with me. Told me to get used to sitting. I asked about my medications and was told that he wasn’t there for that. Got up and walked out of the exam room. I hear he is an excellent surgeon however he lacked bedside manners. He is unsympathetic and uncaring. I have heard this from many other people who have seen him and was told they won’t go back to him. That’s my second and final appointment with Dr Berry.

Dr. Barry was the best. He was clear and concise on everything that was going to happen before, during and after surgery. Answered all my questions and made sure I was confortable and understood everything. Highly recommend!

I started seeing Dr. Berry in 2018 and he’s done cervical and lumbar fusions on me. I’m a very complicated case as he’s mentioned but I always feel I’m in good hands with him. He’s always truthful and straightforward with what he see’s and what he thinks the next step will be. Very knowledgeable as well.

I waited 7 months to see dr Berry to tell me lose 50 pounds I’m so hurt I need surgery in November is the only time I can have it done I own landscape company have to be off 3 months I’m just upset disappointed my nerve pain is killing me I can only work 10 hours a week

I had s/p left L5-1 TLIF W PPS lumbar back surgery.

He wasn't able to help my particular condition but he referred me to another physician who hopefully can. He seemed genuinely interested in offering me help and seemed to really want to help ease my pain. Very easy to talk to and he actually listened!

He said he didn't feel comfortable to do my surgery and that I needed a surgeon who does the kind of surgery that I need all the time. I really appreciated that he would say that rather than do a surgery he couldn't do or feel comfortable doing.

Dr. Berry is very professional and I’m feeling confident and comfortable with my upcoming surgery. I have no doubt that he will have me feeling my best again real soon!

Dr Berry was so nice and explained everything so I could understand. He remembered my daughter whom he had seen simetimr back. It’s amazing he remembered her with all the patients he sees. I trust Dr Berry to do my surgery. Can’t get a better doctor. His nurse Lynette is fantastic. The staff at IRA are very helpful.

I was just there for an MRI but I couldn’t do it and Dr. Berry took time out his day to look at me and help me. The whole staff is amazing and LGBTQ+ friendly!! I feel like I’m in great hands ??

In terms of quality of his skill, yes, he is a good surgeon. Anything positive about him ends there. I heard him screaming at his staff on two separate visits. He’s arrogant, mean, belittling, and just a blatant downright a-hole. Get your surgery, get out and act like you never met the guy. He needs to work on his social skills across the board and learn how to have respect for others. Personally, I kind of hate him.

I had spinal stenosis surgery on May 26. From the beginning I felt very comfortable and confident with Dr Berry. Wonderful bedside manner and overall nice person. Alot of pain after surgery, but I am getting better. Very confident that I will get back to normal. It will take awhile but it will happen. Yes, I would strongly recommend Dr Berry to family and friends. Dr Berry has operated on both my cervical and lumbar spine with positive results. Prior to my surgeries I met with Dr Berry; he explained the diagnosis and how the surgical procedure would relieve my pain. Dr Berry took his time in his explanations and gave me all of the time I needed for questions. He did not pressure me and encouraged me to talk with my family before making a decision. I felt confident that Dr Berry had my best interest in mind in encouraging me to weigh my goals v risks. I feel very positive about the outcome of both surgeries.

He was on time, and was very knowledgeable about my condition. He was straight forward, spoke like he knew I wanted the facts and gave a honest assessment.

Dr. Berry is a great doctor. He explains what he's going to do in a manner which is easy to understand. I have had 2 surgeries done by him and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
