Jack of All Trades, Expert of None
When I saw Dr. Barron as a vulnerable teenager who was self-harming and experiencing suicidal thoughts and panic attacks, what he should have done was refer me to a psychiatrist. Instead, he took it upon himself to prescribe me Prozac and call it a day. I do credit him with helping me find a therapist that I still see today. Now, as an adult, I understand the importance of having a team of specialists who each are trained in a specific field of care, and I have a PCP, psychiatrist, counselor, gyno, and am looking for other docs in specific fields for ongoing issues. He also prescribed my dad, who had hypertension, a new drug (that is generally prescribed when other treatments haven't worked) as his first-time medication, and landed him in the ER and could have died. I'm surprised my dad wanted to keep seeing him after that. I wish Dr. Barron was willing to admit when he isn't an expert and refer patients to people who can actually treat them adequately.

I have been seeing Dr. Barron for many years now and I find him a delight. I have seen him again and again go above and beyond in his attentiveness to my calm my fears about my health issues. He is easy to reach and never makes you feel rushed or that you do not matter to him. I have seen him rush test's for me to make sure that I was ok. I highly recommend him. He is up to date in his medical knowledge and very trustworthy. Sincerely, Mrs. Suzette Vallieres

This doctor does not care about the wellbeing of his patients at all and gave advice that led to our family being medically abused without so much as an apology after the fact. An absolute monster, avoid at all costs.

I always admired how cool and collected Dr. Barron seemed until I brought concerns to him about medical abuse my daughter endured due to his recommendations. I realized at that point that his demeanor is due to complete disinterest in the overall well being of his patients. Our family is still dealing with iatrogenic trauma due to the recommendations of this horrible practice.

My husband, three young sons, and myself all see Dr. Barron as our primary care doctor. We have received nothing but excellent care from him. He is caring, attentive, responds quickly to questions and problems, is easy to reach personally by phone, and also very kind. He allows plenty of time for appointments. My sons all look forward to check-ups with him - I never expected that from young children. Dr. Barron is a wonderful doctor and I could not recommend him more highly

We were advised to visit the ER with our preemie daughter after she was eating more slowly than usual (it turns out she was congested) and we were not informed that the standard of care for preemies in the emergency room is a series of excruciatingly painful and traumatizing tests and hospital admission to rule out infections, regardless of whether or not the child appears ill and whether or not the parents are seriously concerned. Grossly violated our trust and our right to informed choice.
