Dr. Baker was thorough, knowledgeable & was personable! Great sense of humor too! I'm grateful for the opportunity to have my partner be treated by this A+++ physician!

Dr Baker listens carefully, has a very sensible approach to addressing the issue at hand, and seems generally interested in what the patient wants as well as what is the best standard of care. I never felt like a cookie-cutter patient with him. Highly recommend.

Recently had a colonoscopy from Dr Baker during which he clipped a vein which landed me in the emergency room at Penrose Hospital for three days with a serious bleed in the colon. I contacted his office leaving several messages before and during my ER visit but received no response. I had lost enough blood over the three days to seriously drop my blood count and become anemic. Dr. Baker finally showed up the third day to perform a second colonoscopy and stitch up the bleed. He claims he was unaware of my condition or messages and blamed his staff. The ER doctor at Penrose, Dr Crumpton, said that he informed Dr Baker the FIRST day of my condition because Dr Baker was on call for Penrose that weekend.

Dr. Baker is very professional and listened to my concerns. He is a great GI doctor.

Dr. Baker is the best! He is very easy to talk to and takes the time to explain so you can understand things.

Except for the preparation time for my Colonoscopy, :), my experiences with Dr. Baker and his staff were great!! I recently underwent my first screening colonoscopy with Dr. Michael Baker and I cannot recommend him enough. He was everything you'd want in a doctor -- kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, ready to answer any and all questions -- but also efficient and skilled. Fortunately, I won't need another procedure for 10 years but I hope Dr. Baker is still available and practicing in Colorado Springs then! He provides outstanding medical care!
