Dr. Michael Bagheri, MD

Dr Bagheri and his staff have been extremely helpful and informative about my condition. My condition was unexpected and severe Dr Bagheri was very helpful his bed side manner showed confidence and caring. Initially all the news was bad and I was very concerned. I followed all his directions and amazingly my condition healed itself within 90 days. I am so pleased with my care and results that I received.

Terrible admin staff; appt at 1pm didn’t see me until almost 2.

The staff never follows through with making appointments. We have heard, 'once we get your test results we'll schedule an appointment for your test' numerous times. They almost never follow through...we've waited several weeks and finally call in...no apologies. We've scheduled telephone appointments with the nurse practitioner and the nurse doesn't call because staff doesn't give her the message. We showed up one time at ten minutes to one PM and the waiting room doors were locked...they told us we had to wait outside until they were finished with lunch. We (my mom is 90 years old!!!) waited in 115 degree heat until the staff granted us access to the waiting room. Terrible staff and very rude!!!

Reception desk are lazy. They put me on hold for an hour and a half. I think they forgot that they have a call waiting because when I hung up and I immediately called back they answered and took my call. Very frustrating!

Dr Bagheri is the BEST! I have been a patient of his since last year. From the day I met him I felt so at ease. Very soft spoken, compassionate, caring, and throughly explained my conditions. Fast forward... On May 1st 2024 I went to Desert Hospital with shortness of breath and chest pains. As soon as Dr Bagheri was notified, he and his staff jumped in to action. Within minutes he took control of my case and expeditiously ordered an Angiogram. The results were not good. Two blocked arteries. He made the decision to implant a stent in one of the arteries and prescribed medication for the less threatening one. During the procedure Dr. Bagheri kept me well informed on everything he was doing. I felt so safe in his care. I immediately felt much better after it was done. He followed up with me after and I was out within hours. I plan to keep Dr Bagheri for s long as possible for my cardiac care. I definitely recommend him to anyone that is seeking an outstanding and amazing cardiologist.

Amazing! Saved my life when he performed a heart procedure that was causing me pain for years and went undiagnosed by other doctors. I can't thank him enough. He is warm, caring and professional, as is his office staff. I have had 8 different cardiologist since 1992 when I had my first by-pass, and never have been offered a warm handshake and hug when I needed it. He is not only a brilliant doctor but a kind one. He's my 'forever' doctor.

Started going to see him in 2018. Diagnosed my problem early and it's being treated. In the beginning it took a long time to get an appt and office waits were long. It is not the case anymore. Staff is friendly and thoughtful and professional. Office waiting room is clean and stocked with bottled water. Yes, sometimes there is an office wait if he gets held up at the hospital. Expected as a Doctor. I am always able to get someone on the phone to answer my questions or confirm my medication changes or renewals. Lucky to have him as my Doctor.

Dr. Bagheri is the kind of doctor you want on your team when you have a critical health issue, like cardiology. At every meeting I was really impressed at how he and his staff always took the time to give a thorough explanation of what they were doing and why. I'm a scientist and I still learned something useful about my health from every member of the Cure Cardiovascular team. Dr. Bagheri also expedited my care, after 2 unproductive visits to the ER, he got me into their schedule and the analysis of my health was ready in less than 3 weeks. At the end of my visits, I felt reassured of my condition and how to care for myself going forward. I would recommend Dr. Bagheri and his team in a heartbeat!

As a long time patient of Dr Bagheri, he is a physician’s physician. A former neighbor of mine, working in OR, had told me that of all of the physicians, he requires the highest standards. Yet, as a person, #1 most lovable. By my observation, his office has benefited from zero staff turnover. Dr Bagheri has performed two separate procedures on my behalf, one of which was so new that the medical equipment’s rep was in attendance. No insurance company has expected me to have any longevity. Yet, recently, my primary physician said that my wife & myself are her only healthy patients— at age 83. In the trenches, I want it to be Dr Bagheri.

My husband met with Dr. Bagheri and had a very thoughtful, intelligent conversation about his recent history. Dr. Bagheri asked us none of the usual questions. We had provided an extensive questionnaire online, and the amazing thing was that the doctor had actually read it. I sat in on the meeting as my husband sometimes has memory issues to recent traumatic brain injuries. I was really surprised at how much time he took to discuss options for continued data gathering and considered alternatives for further action. We left feeling great about this new doctor. After covid, we had experienced terrible waits, inattentive staff and outright belligerence regarding wait time to get an appointment scheduled. Really, this was a feeling of a return to better times.

I was new to Palm Springs a year ago and not in good health. I am so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Bagheri, who immediately began to revise and adjust my numerous medications and I now feel alive again! I am so grateful for his attention to detail, and all of his staff who assisted me. Thank you!

In late June, I was struck with a rare cardiac event - Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. I’ve had a heart attack in the past and have a stent, so the logical assumption was a blockage. But this was different. I was in the hospital for ten days, and from the beginning, I was under the watchful care of Dr. Bagheri and an excellent team at Desert Regional. The course of action included 36 hours on a ventilator, numerous drips, and constant monitoring of my breathing and heart efficiency, which was drastically reduced to 10% by the Takotsubo. Due to Dr. Bagheri’s early diagnosis, which was key, his chosen course of treatment, and follow-up care, my heart has recovered and I am back to riding my bike in under two months. I am forever grateful to Dr. Bagheri for his straightforward approach and medical expertise which lead to my recovery.

I was being tested and seen by another cardiologist but I was not being treated. When my primary care physician told my husband in no uncertain terms to take me to the ER. It was there that I met Dr. Bagheri who literally saved my life. After nearly a month hospitalized and life saving surgery I changed cardiologists and see Dr Bagheri on a regular basis.
