Dr. Michael Auriemma, MD

Dont go to him! I went to him in 2021 and he injected my both SIJ based only on US even thou I had zero symptoms there! And since then I?ve been suffering I can?t walk or sleep or sit or exercise or do anything at properly while I?m in my 30s.. my life is ruined! And when I went to him to compare pictures of before and after he said he never took a picture of my SIJ! Even thou he did! Avoid him at all costs unless if u want to get worse!

Dr. Auriemma treated my knees with protein rich plasma with growth factor in June. The treatment coupled with excellent physical therapy from Dr. Chris Gregorski, PT, DPT of Phoenix Physical Therapy have made a huge difference in my mobility and pain. Dr. Auriemma's expertise coupled with his caring, respectful approach make for a positive patient experience.

Dr. Auriemma reviewed my history and my new X-rays. He examined my hip and keen joints on the table. He also used ultrasound to get a closer look at my knees. Dr. Auriemma gave me multiple options for future treatments. I feel very hopeful.

I usually have a lot of questions at doc appointments and can tell very quickly if Im being short changed on a response just to be hurried out the door. Visits with Dr. Auriemma couldnt be farther from that! Besides his extensive expertise, he is incredibly thorough and thoughtful in his evaluations, and also in his responses to (all of my) questions and concerns! I leave visits feeling heard (my activity goals are top of mind for him) and with a very good understanding of next steps and what to expect. Excellent doc, highly recommended!

Knee injury from meniscus tear

Even when he delivers - a really difficult diagnosis: he is very compassionate. I had 5 orthopedic surgeons prior. He's the best one. The procedure's are painful for my injury: but he's supportive every step of the way. He's honest and kind. He is the only orthopedic surgeon, Doctor I believe in.

Dr. Auriemma was knowledgeable and took his time. His "bedside manner" was awesome. My condition is rare but it was clear that he did some homework so he could address my concerns. I didn't feel rushed like you can feel at some doctors' offices. It was so worth the drive around the beltway. I'll be back for sure!

On time, no waiting, cordial and efficient front desk staff, very thorough and friendly examination, doctor really attentive and detailed and patient, as if I was the only patient in the world for him.

Michael Auriemma’s bedside manner was extreme poor. I made my first appointment over a month ago. I’ve had to come back to the office multiple times for further examination, each time I stressed I have time limitations. At first he encouraged me to come back for another office visit with an incentive he could refer me to a good PT for my condition. The last visit he was rude through out the visit. I expressed concern that I’m running out of time and he snapped I can just find a PT on my own. At the end, I was told I would get a call within 48-72 hours from him with final treatment recommendations. Nothing. I have to leave town soon without starting some type of treatment to address my chief complaint after paying for 4 doctors appointments and multiple imaging studies.
