Big Nope.
Complete jerk. Uneducated about Lyme and was extremely rude about it. Best to avoid if you have more than a very basic issue. Lyme patients will be vindicated by history.

If Zero Stars Were an Option..
I just got off the phone with Dr. Auerbach regarding my father's critically low hemoglobin level. He did nothing but skirt around my questions and offer information that was quite irrelevant, and basically told me to put my dad into hospice (He is nowhere near ready for hospice!) and get him on Medicaid!! My dad will NOT be going back to this doctor, and I advise others not to put your trust in him.

Great experience!
Very easy to make an appointment, staff was friendly and very accommodating. Dr Auerbach was very professional and explained my problem completely as well as included me in the treatment plan I received my infusion that day and he telephoned me the next morning to see how I was feeling. Very concerned and caring physician who also is very intelligent and up to date with latest studies for treatment and management of illness A wonderful experience! I would recommend this doctor to all!

It was quick and easy to schedule an appointment with Dr. Auerbach's office and there was plenty of free parking. His office, on the third floor is right by the elevator. Dr. Auerbach was great at explaining my problem (severe anemia) and seemed genuinely interested in me. I had an iron infusion, which required a couple "sticks" and never in my 73 years have they been so painless. Bravo to his nurses.

My appointment went well. The staff were efficient and friendly. Dr Auerbach was kind and assured me that he could address my issues. He was on time and seemed to have all of the time that i wanted for me. The treatment was given, instructions for follow-up and other appointments were explained.

Absolutely terrible. Extremely unprofessional when referring to a Med star surgeon. Very arrogant and poor bedside manner. He had no idea my husband’s cancer had returned and was arguing with us about results that we already knew. He offer treatment that was very harsh and said that there was no other way. We switched to a different oncologist and he was much better. Years after seeing him we were billed incorrectly. Even his staff were unprofessional.

Treated my husband 9 years ago. Most arrogant, rude, and disrespectful doctor I have ever met. After treating my husband for nine months, I called Auerbach when my husband was so weak I couldn’t get him out of bed for his appointment, he said “He’s given up. If he has given up, so have I.” Took my husband to another hospital. Unfortunately, he passed a month later in that hospital. Auerbach thinks he’s a God. I think he’s a demon.

Office manager, Cindy, has absolutely no idea how to run an office and has no buisness being in this position. Dr. Auerbach himself is rude, arrogant and lacks compassion. His beside manner is deplorable and the staff are completely overwhelmed. Quick, rushed through visits. Unanswered questions, no explanations. Completely focused on money, and has no value for human life. I would NEVER trust this doctor! The absolute worst experience during one of the most difficult times in my life.

I was patient, seeking consultation on a ferritin/cbc blood level analysis. I was a bit taken a back by his hasty bedside manner. It's quite possible that his practice is overwhelmed with more acute cases. My impression was he's very committed to industrialized medicine, by his inability to think outside of his pre-determined diagnostic methodology and treatments. It just might have been a poor match between my individual wellness needs, and his areas of expertise.
