Terrible experience!
Everything about him made me feel icky. The questions, his tone, his vibe, everything. There’s nothing comfortable about talking about mental health symptoms, but being asked from someone with a cold tone is something I never want to do again. The whole 90 minutes was a waste of my time with him telling me that I’m basically fine! LOL. Go on google and do your own mental health assessment, that’ll be better than this guy. Please retire and save future patients the headache and invalidation.

Horrible Do NOT Go!
This Doctor was over 2 hours late. He got upset when I wouldn't leave and reschedule. Appointment took 2 hours. He asks invasive questions that have nothing to do with mental health. Weirdest thing I've ever been through! I had anxiety attacks after leaving. Might have ptsd from him.

This mental health specialist is incompetent
Dr Amiel 'specializes' in giving medication to turn functional, able-minded patients into nonverbal, mentally incompetent individuals who can no longer speak or think for themselves. He regularly gives 'sit down and be quiet' medication without consideration of other meds and their interaction, as well as not listening to the patient and finding out why they are really upset or experiencing specific symptoms. He also does not care AT ALL if a patient does not like the side effects of said medication and how it makes the patient feel. If it is not the right medication, he does not care. As long as the patient sits in a corner and does not speak, he is fine with it. He is incompetent and downright dangerous!

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Spent 2 hours with me asking yes/no questions and not letting me talk whatsoever. I had so much to express and explain and he interupted me constantly and never let me discuss my problems. He wouldn't prescribe me the proper medications I've been on close to a decade. Hes a joke. I will not be returning.
