Dr. Michael Amendolara, MD

Not Happy’s review sounds off. I have been a patient of Dr. Amendolora’s for over three years and my experience is the exact opposite of that. Reading the review I got the impression that something was off with this patient and the problem is probably with them. Rambling on about your entire medical history for twenty minutes before being asked by the doctor when you’re supposed to be there for a particular problem would try any doctor’s patience. Dr. Amendolora has always been professional and polite so I don’t believe he would be rude or slam the door. As far as the other review of consistently making you wait seems off too. His wait times are normal and better than many others I’ve been to. To say he doesn’t “seem” to know what he’s doing is stupid thing to say and I wouldn’t give it any credence at all. What does that even mean? He knows what he’s doing and he’s a good doctor.

Firstly, The front desk staff, Mercedes,Mellisa,Lisa are very nice. Angela the Dr's assistant is great. Thats where it ends. The first time I ever met this Doctor. He seemed a little off. Almost like he wasnt right. Seemed the same the next visit also. As a first time patient, I started to tell him my Physical history and he interrupted me and said I Quote You have a 20 minute time slot and your almost up. What are you here for today I have other patients waiting. You would think that seeing a new patient he would want to know my history. SO I told him my symptoms and he wrote a prescription. As He was leaving the room I asked may I ask 1 more question, To that he said abruptly and loudly NO and slammed the door. My question was is a medication I'm taking OK to take with the new prescription. Valid concern NO? I though maybe he was having a bad day so I made another appointment. BIG MISTAKE! Basically that office is a money maker.

Consistently keeps you waiting. Is not very personable and doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing. Won't go back.
