The best Dr ever!
I’m sorry I wrote a review on Dr Sha’ini back in 2019. I re read it today and realized that I must have passed the star rating. Dr Sha’ini is definitely a 5 star doctor. I highly recommend her. She will get to the root of the problem! I was mis diagnosed and she caught it right away. You would be very happy with her overall treatment. Wonderful, caring Doctor!!

The best!
Dr. Sha’Ini diagnosed me at the end of our first session. I had been misdiagnosed and that’s why I was struggling so much. I’ve been her patient for over 3 years now and she is so attentive and responsive… I couldn’t imagine having anyone else. She calls back same day and times I’ve been in the psych department she has been in full contact with my husband and with me. She combined with my psychologist have saved my life a couple of times.

I thought Dr. Sha'Ini was a great, caring doctor until I was disillusioned of that notion about 2 months ago when her resident completely stopped calling me back after years of psychiatric treatment at Rush, after I cancelled one appointment that I told him was too early for me. She is responsible for knowing he dropped me with no explanation & obviously could not care less. She acted very caring to me all the time before that, but clearly, it was all an act.

My only personal encounter with Dr. Sha'ini was when my beloved daughter, miles and many states away from me, called from a psychiatric ward crying, "Mom, I want to talk to my Psychiatrist". She gave me the number, this doctor was paged, and soon I heard the sweetest, most kind voice responding over the telephone: "I will contact your daughter now." She did and the results of her contact made a positive difference!

Dr Sha'ini made me feel comfortable and easy to talk to. She understood so much was going on in my life that other illness would make me cancel appointments. She always listened to what I had to say and helped me get through what ever was bothering me. She made me see things in a different perspective, I was very sad she no longer was my doctor, but so happy for her promotion.
