She is great until you need something
She was amazing at begin getting everything back under control. I need an refferal on my insurance companies portal it has take over 2 weeks and I am in extreme amounts of pain(it is still not done). Her MA is has terrible bedside manner and is rude. I have report her multi times but nothing has changed. She was aware of my goals and acted very supportive in begin but in end was not supportive at all. She pushes issue you have off on other doctors you are already seeing but it has nothing to do with that type of doctor.

Dr. Larson has my highest recommendation. Her office is well run and the people kind and helpful. She is very knowledgeable and will send you to a specialist if needed. She doesn’t make you feel rushed as some doctors. I am very satisfied with Dr. Larson.

Normal Check-in Appointment
I haven't been the to the doctors in some time and was experiencing some pain in my abdomen. Dr. Larson was very helpful in explaining what the cause of the pain was. Had blood work done and did the normal yearly physical as well. I am glad I went in because it motivated me to make some changes in diet and exercise.

Adding more codes in physical
I came to do my annual physical exam - preventive and flu shot. I got a bill of 600$ because the provider added more things that were not done. The office did not explain why they billed all of the extra codes. Also, St Francis not letting providers order birth control- so in addition I need to see another provider and pay more- feels like a scam more than health here!

In and out
After my second visit with Dr. Larson, the only thing I came away with was that she has a basic understanding of medicine and doesn’t really want to delve into the details and intricacies of someone’s medical problems. She seemed to be very rushed. Her physical exam was less than thorough, and she did not seem to really care about the details of my problem. I had asked her to fill a prescription that I had run out of. Come to find out when I tried to refill it. She had not given me any refills. This is not a medication that was scheduled or needed to be followed up on on a constant basis. The last physician that I had unfortunately moved out of town gave me a full year prescription.. Hopefully Dr. Larson does read these reviews and tries to rethink her approach to patience and medicine. Period.

Frustrated with todays medical environment – Jul 29, 2023
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Larson?
I thought I could trust this doctor and she said I needed to be vaccinated for hepatitis a and b. I should have asked why I needed these because afterwards I learned that I did not need the vaccines per CDC guidelines. I then learned that she tells all of her patients that they need the vaccines. I was charged $163 and it is not covered by Medicare. If you are looking for a good family physician look elsewhere.

Absolutely would not EVER SEND/ recommend someone I know, family/ friends, &/ or to a perfect stranger. After my second appointment I honestly started to question her competence & if she genuinely cared about ppl as patients (& not just "as a paycheck"). She lack even basic "bedside manner" & absolutely rude & cuts you off midsentence after asking the patient a quite important question(s). Food for thought ??: Q.) What do you call someone whom graduated last in their med school class?? A.) Well, "Doctor", of course... ??????... DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO SUBPAR TREATMENT & A "DOCTOR" WHOM ACTS LIKE YOURE PUTTING HER OUT BY HAVING AN APPT/ seeking medical treatment! Stay away~ save yourself from the strife she'll put you through. Can't speak for other Dr's in the practice, but w THIS INDIVIDUAI hate having to leave a poor review for anyone, but felt an obligation to let others know. If I could've given her negative stars, I would not have hesitated in the least!

Meridith defers to nonsensical and likely non-existent policy rather than common sense care. She is another cog in the wheel of big business primary care who is either incompetent or lacks the fortitude to enact another doctor's recommendation. Meredith was unable to request a scan to be performed on me without being seen DESPITE the request made DIRECTLY in my patient chart from my primary physician. (My primary physician was out on Fall Break so I was left with Meredith and the other scrubs) "She would like to see you just to be sure." Please. Insured or non, it's an absolute travesty I would take valuable time from someone who may need it so she can elevate her patient count or bottom line through an office visit fee. What's wrong with health care in America? Find Meredith at St. Francis or Hendricks Regional Health YMCA for an answer.

care philosophy

``My philosophy of care revolves around seeing the patient as a whole and treating them as a person instead of something out of a textbook. I want to know a person's backstory, what their likes and dislikes are. Having that communication is what helps me determine what's the best treatment for you specifically.``
