Dr. Meredith Garrett, MD

Where is she? She helped me find out what was causing me so much abdominal pain and fixed it. I would love to find her to re evaluate me.

Does anyone know if Dr. Garrett is still in practice? I called Sibley and got jerked around by the operators - then, finally, someone told me she no longer works there. She's wonderful breast surgeon and I'd love follow up with her. Can anyone tell me if/where she's currently practicing? Many thanks.

Dr. Garrett is AMAZING. She did the (minor) procedure at my initial appt so I wouldn't have to return. When she realized I might need insurance pre-auth she said she the procedure was so quick she would go ahead and do it and if it wasn't covered she wouldn't charge me (it was covered). I was a bit nervous but she was SO personable and competent - exactly what you want in a doctor! After my appt with Dr. Garrett, I would never consider seeing a different surgeon. She could not have been better.

I had an excellent experience in the office and with my hernia repair after the birth if my first child. I unfortunately have to go back for #2 since we had our 2nd but she explained that may be necessary. However it was not as bad and held up. She has great bedside manners, quite funny and knowledgeable at the same time. Thumbs up all the way!

Excellent doctor. She was very patient. I did not feel like I was being rushed. She made me feel at ease. Her work is excellent. I've had other doctors state withtout prompting that she is an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Garrett is solid surgeon but the office assured me that a minor surgery would be covered by my insurance. But they failed to explain until after very large medical bills came in the mail that they meant that only surgeon's bill would be covered and that somehow I should have known to check on expenses from the hospital and from an anesthesiologist, under contract with the hospital.
