Saved my life but also misdiagnosed
Rush was my second opinion with breast cancer diagnosis. I came to rush needing my life saved, which they did. However i was misdiagnosed. I was told i was 3b instead of stage 4. Rush caught it in my lymphnodes because Dupage medical f'd it up. However now Dr Cobeligh was too proud and too stubborn to biopsy my sternum till it was too late.

Dr Cobleigh took the time to answer all of my questions, i never felt rushed, she is patient and kind. She responds quickly to mychart. And she takes time to explain things well and did not make me feel less intelligent in the process. She is as smart as they come and thats the kind of doctor I want in charge of my cancer. She is a personable and considerate doctor, well recognized in the cancer world and I would highly recommend her.

A doctor that denies treatment due to vaccination status should have license revoked! She forgot her oath and only cares about big pharma money!

I went to see Dr. Cobleigh after a breast cancer diagnosis. Although I was a candidate for both a lumpectomy and mastectomy, she would not entertain any discussions around a lumpectomy. She went out of her way to make me feel stupid for even entertaining a lumpectomy. At various points throughout the visit, she grew visibly irritated at my attempts to discuss a lumpectomy and raised her voice at me saying "You are 41 and have two breast cancers, what do you think is going to happen!" and then when I mentioned that my genetic testing was pending she once again yelled and said, "Frankly, I don't care about your genetic testing results!" Her treatment was so unprofessional that the breast surgeon who was in the room apologized to me on her behalf. As a newly diagnosed cancer patient, Dr. Cobleigh was seeing me at my most vulnerable and instead of treating me with compassion and respect, she was condescending and rude. I don't know why anyone would choose to have her as their provider.

Dr. Cobleigh gets a gold star for her compassion and expertise. When I first met her and Teri, her PA, I wasn't loving Cobleigh. But once I got to know her better, WOW. She and Teri are amazing. They treat you with respect and dignity and value your questions, suggestions and care for you like you're a member of the team rather than a checkbox. I think they're an anomaly in the medical world. Compassionate and smart. Up on all the latest research. I miss them since I had to switch hospitals.

I would recommend Dr. Cobleigh and her coworkers to anyone! I am a 15 year survivor and can honestly say that Dr. Cobleigh saved my life. I had interviewed two other oncology centers and was pretty much given a death sentence. I have completed all my chemo and radiation at Rush and would do so again (hopefully I do not have to.)
