I’ve had two births with her, and she was great. Answered all my questions, and I never felt rushed. For my first baby, I started with a different obgyn, and I was not satisfied at all, and I switch 1 week before my due date. Dr. Stocks did an ultrasound and noticed I was low on fluid and saved my baby’s life! My second baby I had her for the whole pregnancy and delivery and I would not go to anyone else.

Dr. Melodie Stocks is the worst experience out of ALL our child birthing, 6 total. She performed a C-section the became infected. We went into her general practice office and she reopened the incision in the back room, (YES it was that bad, she actually cut the sutures!!!) no local anesthetic, I was reeling in pain. I told her I could feel it and SHE TOLD ME I was still numb from surgery!!!!!! My husband asks her how she is going to address this newly opened wound and she puts steri-strips across my incision and tells me to watch the drainage. We both ask for sutures and she insists that the steri-strips are sufficient and then says she does not have the material to stitch me back up. WTH!!! I switched OB-GYN immediately. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I can’t imagine delivering with anyone else. Dr. Stocks has been with us through two healthy deliveries, 1 first appointment miscarriage, and one 21 week birth. She genuinely cared about us and made arrangements to be with us as we delivered each time. She even checked in with us after our losses. She answered all of our questions and saw us every time we had any concerns. It’s nice having a Doctor that truly cares about you and baby.

She's great. I saw her as a new patient and she was very easy going and made me feel very comfortable. She seems very knowledgeable and took her time with me.

Dr. Stocks is the best OB/GYN I have ever been to. She has good bedside manner and was amazing when delivery time came I can't imagine delivering with anyone else and I drive 75+ miles to see her!
