Dr. Melissa Svoboda, MD

We had a great experience with Dr Svoboda. She was very thorough with her assessments, pulled in other doctors for their opinion, and made my daughter feel at ease throughout the whole process. We felt like we were in good hands. She’s extremely caring and knowledgeable. As for the office staff, yes… they can be very disorganized. We were supposed to take 2 separate tests while we were there, but the office staff forgot to put that into the paper work so we had to go all the way back and do the 2nd test. So make sure you advocate for your child and remind everyone there what you were told.

Horrible staff, unable to make an appointment after several faxed referrals with staff saying they never get fax and don’t even look for it. Two months later and several faxed referrals confirmation and they rude saying they didn’t get them.

The office staff is disorganized and does not communicate with the doctor. My toddler son has been her client for 8 months has been without his seizure medications for a whole weekend one time and a whole week another time at refill time because the doctor's office doesn't get back with the pharmacist or myself after leaving several messages. I asked for a more affordable medication so I could pay out of pocket because his prescription can't be broken up and each bottle is almost $1000, which I can not afford. The doctor says he needs to stay on THIS medication, however, can not say why her office delays refills. In 8 months, the doctor has seen my toddler once, and doesn't have any availability in her calendar to see him at all for at least another 6 months. My son had a sleep study which I still have not heard anything about and it has been 5 months, but again, we can't get him in to see her. Ultimately, stay away from this office, they are too busy and way to disorganized.

If I could leave zero stars I would! These doctor made a call after my numerous attempts to find out results from an MRI that had been performed on my niece back in August. Horrible bed side manners. She had the audacity to say follow up appointment was set for January to go over results after caregiver failed to follow up appointment for results, cps case. Very rude over the phone and seemed bothered by my attempts to find out results from that MRI, that was done in August. Never been treated by a physician that way. Zero recommendations!

I would highly recommend this doctor. She is very caring, thoroughl and kind. My daughter loves her, she makes her feel important ??
