Dr. Melissa Smith, MD

Dr. Smith has been mine and my children's doctor for 15 years. She listens and takes time to understand your needs. When my son was very ill, she even called late at night to see how he was doing as she was very concerned. I've had some medical issues come up and she is very comforting. Exceptional service from an exceptional doctor.

I really like Dr Smith she listens to your concerns and understands a woman of a certain age. Her nurse is awesome as well. Some of the front office staff can be snarky and that is a shame because that is the first person you see and the people who make your appointments and if they don't like you they put you at the bottom of the pile for call backs and appointments. This is concerning because it affects the way people view an entire practice. If I had not worked for many years in healthcare and know the "ins and outs" I would have moved on but the good doctor keeps me coming back.

Wasn’t allowed to have visit as online sites saying. She accepted new patients and even allowed me to schedule an appointment but in fact was not taking new ones

Everything went well, short wait, nice visit with doctor, satisfied with explanations and advice.

She is a great Doctor! Very easy to communicate better than the front entrance reception people!

Visited Dr. Smith for routine care. She has been my family's physician for the past 9 years since my move to Lee's Summit and eventual retirement from the Army. Over those 9 years she has always provided quality care in a very professional manner. My family is grateful to have her as our physician.

I felt the waiting room was particularly clean. Receptionist met me at the door to ask pertinent questions while Covid is going around. Didn't wait long for an examination room. Everyone was very nice. Dr. Smith very friendly as always. Examined me and prescribed medication that took care of my rash.

Dr. Smith has been my primary care physician for years. She always has time to listen to my concerns and offers a plan of care for me. I can call when needing to be seen urgently and am able to get appt with her or one of her partners. She calls me with my lab results and also posts them on the portal. Am able to get non-emergent questions answered quickly through the portal.

Very professional, and answered my questions to my satisfaction??????. Would recommend her to anyone.

Dr Smith cares about what is best for me. She listens and responds, but I know my health is important to her. That is key to me. But she is also nice, easy to talk with and a good listener. I have faith in her ability to treat me. I drive a ways to see her when there are a lot of doctors near me. I never wait long and the whole office is very nice.

I really liked Dr Smith but the office staff wasn't all that great. The lady at the front who checked me in was barely engaged and her nurse refused to accomodate a special time for me to call her back even though she knew I was in healthcare as well...so much for professional courtesy.

Dr Smith is very good at listening and asking me questions about my health. I feel very comfortable having her as my medical doctor.

I had a routine visit for wellness, med check and questions about knee X-rays. As always, Dr. Smith took the time to ask questions, answer questions and made sure that I was comfortable with her advice and suggestions. I have been her patient for many, many years and hope she never retires! She is a great Doc!
