Dr. Melissa Medley, MD

Dr. Medley was the best doctor I have ever had. I never felt rushed and she listened to all of my concerns. I always felt like she was really watching all of my labs to determine which issues were most important. I will not hesitate to try to sign up to be one of her patients when she starts her practice again. She is worth the wait!

I was a patient where she was before and felt like I finally connected with a Dr. Who cared. Does anyone know if she opened her new practice? Please share.

I am very hopeful that Dr. Medley will establish her new practice soon. As a patient in her prior practice, I felt cared for and valued as her patient. She is thorough and takes the time necessary to get to know her patients.

I recently was a patient at MM hospital. I was blessed to have Dr Medley and Dr Thomas provide care after surgery. I felt so comfortable with Dr Medley; they both were excellent. I'm looking for a female PCP. So, of course I Googled to see if I could find if she provided such service. Most of the reviews mentioned looking for/wanting her new location. I hope to find an office location. Hopefully, a new patient.

I was recently admitted into Methodist Metropolitan just last week for what was a heart issue. She took it further and found the true issues I was having that were contributing to the medical problem I was having. The most caring doctor I have been seen or treated by in a long time.

While I only had one visit with her, she was amazing and actually listened. Eagerly waiting for information on her new location.

My wife and I both are eager to learn Dr. Medley'svnew location. We really appreciate her care and look forward to having Dr. Medley as our primary care physician again.

Thorough and knowledgeable, best doctor I have ever had.

Dr Medley was always so attentive to all my medical needs. Unfortunately she is no longer with Methodist San Antonio Medical Associates .

Dr. Medley is a wonderful physician. She is a great listener and very personable. Great in every way.

My elderly in-laws really like Dr Medley but her office and the Methodist system in general are so bad. Example is a very recent hospitalization of my father-in-law. Dr Medley correctly determined that he needed immediate hospitalization for his chronic heart failure and several other issues. We were told in a virtual meeting it would all be set up and just show up at the admissions desk at a specific time. Well he gets there and the admissions desk has no clue. No orders and no way for them to contact her as it’s past 4 pm on a Friday. Many calls later from several family members one finally broke through the wall and she was reached. That’s just one of many incidents of frustrating and time wasting interactions with her office and the methodist system. Referrals have been particularly difficult. The list is long.

She listens well, offers thoughtful suggestions and makes prompt referrals. She has excellent credentials and yet she is very down to earth.

I have found Dr Medley to be very knowledgeable and very personable. I am in my 70’s and have normal health needs. I’ve been very pleased with Dr Medley and would recommend her highly.

Dr. Medley is very good. She seems thorough and is very informative. I finally have a new primary care doctor. She asked tons of questions and I feel like I will be in good hands with her.
