The very first appointment I had with her, she recommended I get a sacral nerve stimulator which has proven100% ineffective and actually contraindicated for someone with one of my conditions. Because of her slick credentials I didn't doubt her recommendation which was an error on my part. In my opinion doctors with smaller practices and less show time have been much better.

My experience was horrendous. She told me to suck it up, sucks getting old, and we can sew shut your vagina or remove it , if it hurts for bad. That's just some of the absolutely horrible advice & bedside manners. WORST DOCTOR EVER. Why do I suspect many reviews were written by her staff?

I started seeing Dr. Kaufman two years ago. I have found her to be skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I travel three hours each way to see her because I trust her clinical judgement and feel taken care of.

Most of my concerns were summarily dismissed, I was told to basically suck it up with concerns about my urological issues, and that it "Sucks getting old" in regard to my chronic pain issues. If you want a doctor very dismissive of your concerns, even if you are 'complicated', go to her. If you want actual help, go somewhere else.

Dr Kaufman is a compassionate and caring physician. As a noted “complicated” case, she gave me adequate time and care. I wil soon have a very intensive procedure requiring skill and I trust her completely.

Without a doubt Dr. Melissa R. Kaufman saved my life! She has demonstrated that she cares for her patients. I only have the highest praise for her. In this time it is hard to find a physician that truly cares with all the bureaucracy that DR's must go through in today's world most have lost the personal touch and just file feelings away with the documentation. Dr. Melissa Kaufman is of the class of DR's that truly have a caring heart and still care! Thanks to and for her. People need to know!

She absolutely rocks! I would not hesitate to recommend her to a family members, dear friends or colleagues. Great bedside manner. I felt totally at ease discussing urological/gyno issues. She explained my conditions and treatment thoroughly. She examined me. Explained findings in detail. I began treatment today. I have hope!!! Only regret is I should have seen her years ago!
