Dr. Melissa Iglesias, DO

I’ve never left a doctor review before, but my experience with Dr. Iglesias was so exceptional that I felt compelled to do so. It’s the exception, not the rule, that a doctor spends extended time with you. She explained things to me thoroughly and researched a specialist for me on her own time. Clearly a very caring person.

Dr. Iglesias is a highly skilled, compassionate honest Doctor. She advised me wisely about what lenses to implant before my cataract surgery which saved me 1000’s of dollars and I was paying out of pocket so that was crucial. Dr Iglesias charges significantly lower prices for the surgery also. Dr Iglesias uses her hands to perform most of the operations which is the superior way over the laser which also costs more money. She has a steady hand & is not a senior like most Dr in the area Dr Iglesias does this because she cares about humans beings health not like many if not most in the area who use people as profit mechanisms. Dr Iglesias served our country as a medical Dr and saved veterans eyesight at Walter Reade after battle injuries. I respect and adore her and am eternally grateful to her. I could go on all day about how wonderful she is. Her staff too are fantastic and make the entire process simple. Thank you Dr Iglesias without you I would have gone blind.

Dr. Inglesias office is so efficient. I waited about a minut between completing forms, having tests and seeing the Dr. Love the speed. Dr. Inglesias was able to diagnose my issue and took time to teach me how to administer one of the treatments. I appreciated having the instructions for the several drops printed out with detailed instructions. Even after my appointment was finished, I remembered two more questions which she stepped outside to answer me. t the pharmacy, the pharmacist had questions that the office answered immediately. Heaven.

Took the time to explain the procedure so I would fully understand the process. Very friendly and pleasant doctor.

Great!!! Better then great. Everyone in the office is professional & friendly. I'm not one who goes to doctors often because I don't hold up well. They made me feel comfortable & at ease. All my questions were answered and I felt good.

This doctor was super rude. In March 2016, I went to see her for for styes on my eyes(big and painful) I went back 3 month after for follow up, now the styes were chalazon still big and my eyelid were deformed. She asked me what I was doing there and that she could not do anything and now my"condition" was chronic. She made me feel that she was doing the appointment for free and that I was wasting her time. And told me that if I wanted I could go and get a second opinion. SUPER RUDE!!!
