Dr. Melissa Harrold, MD

Dr. Harrold is a very attentive, caring physician. I am a retired physician. We retired physicians can be challenging and sometimes intimidating patients for our primary physicians. Dr. Harrold provides me medical care in an expert but casual manner, listening to me, questioning me and formulating treatment plans with me, but not asking me to dictate my care. She takes charge as appropriate, something I genuinely value. I want to be the patient, not my own physician. I appreciate her respect for my medical knowledge while she (not me) guides my primary care.

Dr. Harrold truly makes an effort to get to know her patients. She is supportive and makes helpful suggestions without being judgy. Her appointments are punctual, thorough, and as pleasant of an experience as going to the doctor can be. I feel lucky to be one of her patients!

It is hard to find the words to express the appreciation and love I feel for Dr. Harrold. For over a decade, she has stood by both my wife and myself through ordinary, mundane health situations. But more importantly, she has walked with us through the darkest, loneliest, most painful chapters of our lives. As far as we are concerned, she is family. She listens better than any physician we've ever known. She thinks, researches, and connects dots to arrive at thoughtful solutions. She never hesitates to tell us she doesn't know something. She feels our pain, empathizes, and takes action. She has a wonderful sense of humor, a kindness in her eyes and mannerisms, and a passion to help. Her staff, especially Maddie and Deb are spectacular as well. My wife and I are currently navigating a terrible health crisis. We count Dr. Harrold as one of the blessings God gave us in this fight. Thank you Dr. Harrold and staff!

Dr. Harrold is always on time with my appointments. She asked good questions about my condition and listens. I think it what it really comes down to is that she really cares about her patients.

My daughter is DD and sees Dr Harrold. Dr. Harrold is very patient and kind, and my daughter just loves her!
