I also had a September 2022 appt that was cancelled by office and was advised they'd call back. I waited 2 weeks and I called the North well office in port Jeff back was advised Dr. fans no longer works there and was given an appt with another dr. Captive for mid January 2023. Would like to find Dr. Fans to continue with her as my oncology md.

I had an appointment with Dr Fana on October 25. I was cancelled since she is no longer with the office or Northwell. I have been trying to locate her since. Can anyone help? She has been with me since my journey began with breast cancer and totally trust her.

Dr. Fana is a 10/10
Dr. Fana was born to do what she does. She is the whole package- brilliant, honest, perfect bedside manner, extremely empathetic and leaves no questions unanswered. She never rushed me during our initial consult. I didn’t even interview other breast cancer surgeons - I knew straight away she was the right fit for me. Dr. Fana has called me immediately if I contacted her with a concern or fear after my surgery. She is extremely knowledgeable and competent; I trust her 100% and would recommend her to anyone.

Dr Fana was an exceptional surgical oncologist for the following reasons: she explained my cancer diagnosis and how it pertained to my care, she discussed breast cancer and my genetic relationship to my cancer at length and in simple terms, she realistically and caringly taught me what I was going to be faced with and, she laid out a plan in which she was going to work together with me to remove cancer from my body and guide me through the post-op process. I had my surgery with her in January 2019 after another surgeon performed a Failed Lumpectomy (after I had requested having the module removed for 8 months), and left positive margins. A dear friend recommended Dr Fana and she was an angel for me. If you want professionalism and a truly caring surgeon go to her. I feel terrific and she was exceptional and helping me feel empowered thorough the daunting diagnosis of breast cancer.

Dr. Fana is absolutely fantastic. Besides being a terrific surgeon she’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I know I’m in good hands and am so thankful I found her. I HIGHLY recommend her to any woman dealing with breast cancer. You will not regret your decision to be in her care. Also her staff is top notch. Everything is scheduled for you so that stress is taken from you. Can’t say enough. She’s the best
